Fights you can’t watch (for all the right reasons — please read OP before posting)

    Hearns' face as he stared at Duran before the first bell was chilling. A portent of what was to follow. Nobody did THAT to Duran - oh yes they did!!

    I don't like to watch, not to mention the fight, because it ended tragically. Let me just say that Nigel Benn also fought. Also other fights that ended tragically.

    Anything before cameras run at normal speed.

    Yes, it's an interesting period historically. Yes, the guys involved were often great fighters. I just can't bring myself to watch that herky-jerky silent Chaplin film.

    And the rules aren't even the same, practically speaking.

    Pretty much any Johnny Nelson bout and particularly the De Leon fight.

    Audley Harrison vs Tomasz Bonin - Once was enough. I was willing the Ref to stop it, if only to spare the audience from any further misery (I think the ref was a talented psychic and did the merciful thing - saving everyone from the 'championship' rounds).

    A couple of Wlad K's fights immediately come to mind as insufferable - Ibragimov, Povetkin - each for different reasons.
