Fights you can't watch more than once.

I made it clear I'm a Cotto fan and there is no shame in 'giving up' or 'quitting'. It shows he's a smart man who knew his game was up and he wanted to save some brain cells for his next fight. No shame in that, it shows his intelligence rather than a lack of heart.

Quitting is what Sykes did against Povetkin lol

 

Shame you cannot watch that fight due to the end because it is one of the greatest fights of all time.

 

And if he wanted to continue he would have told his corner to get the **** off the ring apron like Corrales did vs Mayweather.

Alot of prime Roy Jones fights are surprisingly boring. For such an exciting guy his pacing was often times annoying and tiresome. Way too much posturing going on - and I like stylists over "exciting fighters" generally - but I would much rather watch a random Holyfield fight than a random Roy Jones fight.

 

Watching Corrales/Clottey always makes me feel a touch depressed.

Likewise on Dib/Luevano.

 

"DLH vs. Trinidad" from 1999. It stinks...

"Tyson vs. Smith" from 1987.. It bit the rod...:rofl

"Duran vs. Joppy" from '98 was a mismatch and a crime... :|

"Ali vs. Holmes" from 1980 was utterly horrid and a rip-off...:blood

I liked that rematch.... Pryor was prime-time there.... Arguello at age 30 had seen better days in the ring... The beatdown was brutal and relentless.... I'm sure the 'Arguello' nutgrabbers hated every second of that fight in '83..:-(
