The biggest problem with Floyd (personality aside) is that he always leaves you wanting and demanding more.

By that I mean.... he doesn't close the show.

Even when an opponent is there to be taken out (Judah, Mosley, Marquez, perhaps DLH) he seems unable/unwilling to get them out of there.

Contrast that with say, Leonard. Beat the **** out of Duran in the championship rounds of the first fight, got rid of Hearns, got rid of Benitez. Obviously he had to stop Hearns to win the fight, but he could quite easily have left Benitez be and won on the cards.

[Though I'm sure the referee was affected by outside influences in that one :hey]

It was an awful fight. Floyd basically could toy with Oscar from the halfway point and instead fought negatively. In the biggest fight of his career, in front of millions of viewers, he not only fails to make a statement, he basically runs out the clock.

Compared to what he did to Hatton, itÂ’s a real disappointment.

I agree with you's on the fact Floyd doesn't close the show, he's more happy to see out a point win than go for broke

    *Edit*

It maybe just me, but i just enjoy the way Floyd fight's. He could take more risk's, he could push fight's a lot more, but when he's in that ring my eye's are glued

I enjoy certain parts of Floyd's fights.

The first few rounds are generally ****, he's on the back foot potshotting all the time.

It's from rounds 3-8 that he's at his best, figuring the opponent out and implementing what he needs to do to win the fight.

From then on, you start to think there'll be a cresendo..... waiting, waiting :zzz

And the winner by unanimous decision......
