Im actually familiar with this....this is one fight he didn't have to fix im sure. ironically had Mcneeley not been that aggressive Tyson would have probably let him go another round..McNeeley forced the k.o on himself.

When the difference between winning a million and losing a million is a 89 and 91 seconds, you're going to have an insurance policy.

Standard operating procedure would've been Vin encouraging Peter to be aggressive and building up his confidence so he'd go right to Tyson. Having to step in at to have the fight stopped was a last resort in case Peter looked like he'd hold out longer than 90 seconds. When 91 seconds doesn't get you paid, you're not going to leave anything to chance. But you hope that getting Peter to go right to Mike makes such a move unnecessary.

Rewatch the fight. Notice that McNeeley is actually ready to continue, but instead of throwing in the towel (which may not have been noticed immediately), Vin enters the ring a few seconds before the midway point of the round to ensure the DQ happens in time on the official record.

Clear case of the time being fixed, even if the ultimate result, a Tyson early KO, was going to happen regardless.

Matthysse vs Postol. A blind man would see from a mile that it was fixed. Probably postol didnt know, anyway. But so obvious matthysse didnt want to win that fight and that he wanted to lose by ko.

    Mike Tyson vs Bruce Seldon

(to make post-prison Tyson Champ again)

on slow motion DVD the punch never connects
and Seldon falls face first and his arm around
his head on canvas face down...

    Wilder vs Scott

best friend and sparring partner who'd just been
KOd by Chisora gets a Title Eliminator against
Wilder and falls from a grazing shot in 1 round
and it looks as fake as Tyson vs Seldon...

Wilder/Scott stands out as a clear dive, the way he went down, the fact he seemed fully aware of what was going on and the wink before the KO shot landed all make it suspect as hell.

Bruno had a couple of opponents before the McCall fight that went down all too easily. Rodolpho Marin and Mike Evans were clearly there just to take a dive and make a past prime Bruno look good prior to his shot at McCall.

Hopkins wasn't even trying in the fight. He carried him totally.

Hopkins delahoya may have been fixed but Hopkins could have taken de la Hoya out anytime.

This, i just re-watched it. I never realised before foreman used his jab to basically grab Moorers left wrist to move it out of the way to make room for the right hand, very clever, he actually pulled moorer into the shot, you can see on georges face he put everything into that shot unlike the one seconds before.
