True, but that was not the sole reason I brought up the Bradley-Khan scenario. It was not for money, or him being a draw. Bradley's resume is already good, having Khan on that list at that point in time would have been an excellent addition, especially before a Pacquiao bout.

That's not even mentioning unifying 3 times, and undisputed champion being the rewards.

Marquez is far too far ahead of Morales in terms of current ability now for the fight to mean as much,but if they'd fought after Erik fought Maidana it could've been an absolute barnstormer.

On Lewis Wlad circa 01-02 i dont know what the result would be

First i think wlads chin has been blown way out of proportion, its a lot better than it gets labeled

but anyway if you wanna say its total glass then ill go your way, sanders hadnt stopped wlad and lewis would not know, meaning he would not go directly after wlad, wlad is tall and has a good reach

til that point wlad had one loss where he gassed whats to say lewis wouldnt be cautious early on and try to get wlad to tire again, whats to say lewis whose been KO'd twice wouldnt get caught

lewis wouldnt just come right after him unless wlad made it a war like briggs did and i dont think he was as bad as grant

and point 2 you said wlad had went on to dominate the division and it would be a good win later on down the road, well grant at the time was a huge win for lewis but seeing how the defeat went 5 or 10 yrs later no one even thinks of it as all that significant, tua was a huge win at the time nobody lists that fight much anymore

my point is if wlad got beat bad by lewis then as you suggest he would theres a great chance his career could be ruined and he wouldnt come near dominating the division in the future, and like grant could wind up not being all that great a victory legacy wise

 

Right on the money with this one. Both are probably in worse positions for not having taken that fight.

The other one is Marquez not taking an immediate rematch with Pacquiao after the first fight. Instead, he lost to Chris John in Indonesia and basically lost a couple years of his prime because of it.

If Ward knew what? Again he is not the puncher Froch is nor fights with the same style. Fight still can happen I'm tired of people speaking of Bute like any other elite can ko him. Ward is a better style for him.

I was never too crazy about Ward-Bute. If Bute had beaten Froch decisively then you could say what a great scrap that would be, but Froch exposed Bute as a hypejob.

 

Calling Bute a hypejob discredits Froch's win. Man needs his due for his performance and if Bute looked like a frightened amateur in there then it was because of Froch.
