I called Froch-Taylor bang on as a behind-on-points 12th round stoppage. I got Hopkins v Pavlik as a one-sided win for B-Hop right, although to be fair I think so many did that it isn't really 'a fight I got right that most others got wrong'. It seems most actually picked Hopkins, despite the bookies odds. I initially had DLH beating Pac as most did, and then changed my mind after the weights and seeing the condition Oscar was in. That's probably about it.
Recently: Segura over Calderon, Marquez over Vazquez, Montiel over Hasegawa (a bit tongue in cheek that one) & Katsidis over Mitchell. Nothing major there, but all four were underdogs. In fact you might want to scrub the Marquez-Vasquez since I think most boxing fans thought Marquez was gonna win (not what the odds said though).
First bet I ever had was RJJ to beat Toney. Sure he was underdog for that. Had Collins to beat Eubank as well.
Ward to beat Kessler was pretty fly of me. I also laughed at people when they said Froch would stop Dirrell in 4 rounds. My mind is blank for the minute though
A few years back, PacD made a prediction, he said Pac will beat DLH, Hatton and Cotto. EVERYONE laughed at him and called him crazy for even thinking about it. He basically OWNED every boxing experts on this board.
Martinez v pavlik. Couldn't believe that Sergio was 3/1 Katsidis over Mitchell (although its only the dopey bookeis that got that wrong) Prescott v Khan ( He was warming up and he threw a mean looping uppercut at the camera. I turned to my friend and said uh oh)
