Just been thinking about fights that I've been completely wrong about the outcome before the fight.

I remember thinking that Abraham would knock Froch out and I'm one of Froch's biggest fans - How wrong was I!

The other one that springs to mind is that I thought DeGale would beat Groves fairly easily - Again how wrong was I!

Which fights have you predicted completely wrong before the fight?

I bet £600 on Lucian Bute to beat Froch.

    Margarito/Mosley.

The fact that Shane never won another fight makes it a slightly more understandable one to get wrong.

    I think so anyway.

Degale/Groves was one were I was certain and got it completely wrong. I also thought Khan would wipe the floor with Peterson.

I just laid against Khan by stoppage in the Lamont fight..... after the first round I was thinking ''Oh ****''

Oh, expecting Audley to survive the first three rounds against Price was pretty crap of me as well.

Id bought into the Lacy hype and thought he'd flatten Calzaghe.
I also thought DeGale would beat Groves easy.
Going back, I thought Tyson was going to seriously injure Holyfield both fights, well he did, but not the way Id anticipated.

Ricky Burns fights on Boxnation with viewing figures of around 30,000 which is probably a quarter of the amount of people who watch the last Prizefighter which was a lightweight prizefighter. So Ricky Burns is a nobody in the great scheme of things. So until he ditches Fwank and gets on Sky with a decent promoter against decent fighters then Ricky Burns is a nobody.

He has fought a past it Katsidis, a poor Paulus Moses and an overrated Kevin Mitchell at Lightweight. His only decent win at world level is Roman Martinez and that was at Super Featherweight.

If they both went by my scoring you wouldn't have been wrong. Hardly completely wrong. Both were SD's i believe?

I picked Ricky to beat Martinez and Mitchell, but not Katsidis.

You say most people picked Mitchell to beat Burns, that is absolute bull**** Billy and it's typical of your whole persona on this forum, you act like everyone is against you, then try and rub it in when Ricky prevails, pretty sad IMO.
