I'd say he's good, slightly overrated IMO (he wouldn't stand a chance against Calzaghe), but not great. There's many weaknesses you spot in his fight game - for some weird reason, they become more clear when you watch it on TV. But for what I consider a cheap ticket at a decent arena, he's pretty cool. He trained in Gedling near my friends house; actually seen the gym where he started his boxing - he's done well to get where he is now
I am actually only 36 this year.. I remember the first Big card i ever attended.. Gary Mason v Tyrell Biggs in London.. Henry Akinwande was the 1st fight on against Carlton Headley , it was Henrys pro debut , It lasted around 15 seconds.. Lennox Lewis turned pro around then and i went to that show too, I remember him getting introduced to the Crowd at the Royal Albert Hall.. Jimmy Young worked the corner for Tyrell Biggs.. God Bless...
Damn! Impressive, mate! I for my part cant even remember the last couple of fight cards I have attented within the last 2 years. You for sure have a better memory than me,bigcat! You deserve my respect! Damn! I am getting older and older!
Cotto vs "Chop Chop" Corley Cotto vs Branco Cotto vs Urkal The best was the Cotto vs "Chop Chop" , because of the crowd, they were very into it , and it was my first time at a pro boxing card. I wish one day go to the states and see some fights there it will be awsome
