This, aswell as Katsidis vs Casamayor. Katsidis gave boxing some good fights.

Good shout. That was a hell of a fight. Arguably better than JMM/Diaz 1.

    This is a great thread.

Derrick Jefferson vs Maurice Harris, David Izon
    Marcel Cerdan vs. Tony Zale
Jose Luis Lopez vs James Page, Yory Boy Campas
    Pernell Whitaker vs Jorge Paez
    Eusebio Pedroza vs Juan Laporte
Julio Cesar Chavez vs Juan Laporte
    Hank Lundy vs Dannie Williams
Jose Luis Lopez vs Ike Quartey
    Michael Carbajal vs Jorge Arce

Favorite tho Sal Sanchez halting a prime unstoppable force in Azumah Nelson that one is 15 rounds of boxing bliss. Nelson was a man possessed throwing and landing bombs would of dropped or ko'd lesser men.

Moore vs Rhodes was a great fight, but i really love the Dunne vs Cordoba fight. it was great effort for Dunne to come through that and win. unfortunately, i think that took everything out of Dunne. he wasn't the same afterwards. but at least he has a great fight that will live long in history.

in fact, i'm going to pull it out and watch it now. i've got a taste for it. :D

Saw Holyfield vs Bert Cooper mentioned. What a great fight Holy wanted to look good in what he considered his hometown at the time but Cooper was having none of it. Loved that fight.

Also Barret and "What the Heck" Beck sticks out to me as well just cause they aren't that great but the had a really enjoyable match that I don't even remember who won.

Haven't seen mentioned was Hagler vs Mugabi. Don't think it's considered a classic or "great" fight is it? Other than it is among Hagler's defenses. Or maybe it doesn't fit the intent of the OP.

I just like to mention that fight anyway, lol

Anyone remember McKinney-Jones? Hamed-Kelly undercard? 2 gems in one night.
Kelly-Gainer I, Luisito Ezpinoza in almost every important fight win or lose he's great to watch. Underrated. Against Medina, McKinney, and Gonzales he was superb.
