Good stuff from Smitty as always. Hatton sounds pretty genuine, i think he really believes a lot of what he is saying about improvements. Whether he can apply it next weekend when he has Pac wailing away is another story. Can't wait.

He has an awful dress sense but he seems like a decent bloke I reckon. He knows his boxing.

 

Nah...his interviews are top class. He gets the fighters to relax, he asks all the right questions and he gets great answers back.

Will Ricky Hatton ever stop referring to himself in the 3rd person? That's a hardly a trait of "one of the lads"

And will he stop referring to the P4P title? First, it doesn't exist. Second, if he wins JMM becomes #1 because of his own bouts with Pacquiao and better recent opposition, Hatton becomes top 5, probably after Hopkins still, again b/c of recent opposition.

I'm betting on Hatton, but he doesn't strike me as the humble, sensible blue collar guy he claims to be.
