    Round 7 Vargas 10-9
    Round 8 Runowski 10-9
    Round 9 Runowski 10-9
    Round 10 Runowski 10-9

Runowski out aggressive, lands a one two, then holds. Runowski backs off, starts landing heavy one twos, a series of them. Runowski working him over with uppercuts and combos. Brutal one twos from Runowski. Runowski jabbing, then landing overhands. Another one two from Runowski. They exchange jabs. Hard one twos, and a cross right from Runowski, double jab, then another right from Runowski. Runowski slightly hurt late, but way too little too late, Runowski easily won the 10th.

    99-90 Runowski

Thank Christ the judges weren't drinking whatever Kool-Aid the commentators were.

No, there is no debate about the scores. Not sure what the commentators were watching....clowns.

This wasn't that hard a fight to predict, yeah... sure Runowski struggled against Kelly and McKinson, but Runowski himself is a counter puncher by nature, and a very accurate one at that. So he had to take the lead in those matches, and that doesn't come natural to him. Vargas only has a one speed, foot on gas in drive. I knew it would be target practice, the only thing I was concerned about was shady scorecards, which is why I initially went with Vargas MD. But after mulling it over, I thought the beating would be so decisive he could score a late stoppage, and definitely do enough to win it on points. Vargas is the home fighter, but he isn't that protected.

I missed the fight because I was busy, but I caught what Samuel Vargas said at the end, I hope it goes well for him in his retirement considering all the damage he took in his last bouts.

Also, since I have not seen the fight yet take this comment with a grain of salt, this might be an indicator that Vergil Ortiz might probably not have it so easy as made out to believe. Yes, Mckinson is a step down from Egis Kavaliauskas and Maurice Hooker, but this match up might be more difficult than other boxers in Ortiz's resume like lets say Herrera, Orozco, Solomon and Vargas.
