So am i missing something or when is Canelo-Kirkland going down?? See Canelo got Oscar sitting there looking stuip while Haymon and Hearn went in there and signed it up real quick!

HBO does not want to go against CBS off the back. yes Canelo has a way bigger following but CBS has way more viewers! This is all bad for Oscar. and with Figeruoa being Mexican in texas he will get a huge backing even if Canelo is fighting down the street or the same date.

Man oscar best make some moves already :patsch:patsch

Canelo's in limbo because of the Pac/Mayweather negotiations. CBS will show their broadcast during the afternoon, so HBO could still air Canelo/Kirkland in prime time. I doubt Figueroa/Burns is big enough to be held at Alamodome.

Canelo needs to get over it and tell Oscar to move the date because they fighting!

I think they are doing it in the afternoon but if both fights in texas It would be intresting to see if Oscar still makes it happen. in a perfect world a true boxing fan, depending how far away both towns or arenas are, they could go to both fights.

canelo vs kirky will be on regular hbo so canelo will get a fixed sum of money...........

doesn't matter if they go ahead with mayweather vs cotto or anyone else unless duckweather fights pac than Oscar said they will move

I'd watch both but they say CBS could be showing the replay of Mayweather's May 2nd fight, possibly, so that could make a difference too.

Also more ppl have CBS then HBO, just saying. hopefully the fight is in the afternoon like there planning. but still, both fights in 1 city. might not be bad but you never know. happens in my city at least a couple times a year. I usually roll with Golden Boy (went to Khan-Alexander over Brdley-Chavez) but you never know
