Last week, created by @CroBox29? (rhetorical question; I know there was, but it's gone now - wtf? ) I had a reply drafted but never submitted, and tried doing so now - it gave me the "page is old, please refresh" and when I did so it said thread not found. Why on earth would that have been wholesale deleted? Anyway, here was my reply: The quality in the heavyweight division is like a game of Jenga with a couple of blocks removed from each row already. This is a critical block removal that deeply affects the vertical integrity of the whole mess. Which isn't to say that Hurg was a budding all time great in the making. His career had probably had started to plateau. A title was maybe in the cards, maybe not. The point is that heavyweight is ASS right now, and when the four biggest names retire - in the very near future - it's going to be somehow exponentially more ass. Hurg represented one tiny stanchion holding off a madding crowd of mediocrity and worse, among the few bright spots of quality we had to look forward to beyond a year or two from now.
It was a troll thread that he started feeling guilty about, so he asked one of the mods to delete it, so I did.
Ah. Well... This content is protected It was a credible troll attempt though, I'll hand it to him, as I'm fairly certain Hrgović indeed has threatened being close to done with the sport more than once in the last couple of years? I'll leave my sentiments up, anyway. Might just edit title.
