Chisora or Miller, great. but it ain't gonna be Chisora for a year or Miller for 2. That much I can guarantee you.

I don't know how Briggs is in contention when (like Fury) he hasn't had a fight in 2 years, and hasn't fought a good fighter since Vitali in 2010.

 

Excellent potential, only 6 fights and taking on some good fighters, very patient and controlled. Stay busy at this level for 2 more fights and step up to contenders top 15 and take your time learning your trade. Title fight when the smoke clear at the top of the heavyweight division. I like what I see

About time somebody took Mansour out. He has a good story, but he was fighting at the wrong weight.

Big statement from the Master. I liked how he controlled the distance, moved and threw big punches, very Vitali like style. I see him as a big threat soon.

Filip Hrgovic looks like a good contender.

 

That was just pure abuse by Filip Such a nice treat to watch on this fine Saturday.

 

He's big, he's strong and he's got all the tools to make it to the top.
I'd love to see Hrgovic vs Kabayel for the European title.

 

Good win for Hrgovic, but there's lot's of work to be done yet. While he showed good accuracy, I was not impressed by his speed. His slow and somewhat rigid movements beg the question as how is he gonna deal, with a tall, rangy fighter, Joyce for example.

 

Answered some questions about his power but I didn't like how he was pawing with some of his punches. That may work when you are 6 inches taller and 20 years younger than your opponent, but at some point he is going to be tested, and better be ready.

 

Hrgovic is the real deal . This is the start of many big boxing nights in Zagreb

 

Wrong weight? More like wrong decade.

It's unfortunate that the best years of Mansour's career were lost to various houses of correction...but time only moves in the one direction and it doesn't wait.

Mansour was physically-overmatched tonight...but he's probably lost a little in the past couple years, too. While I do think Hrgović has a very bright future ahead of him - if you asked me to write down my list of top-50 HWs...I would not have put Amir Mansour on it even before tonight. The sport has simply passed him by.

If I were managing Hrgović and picking his next significant fight - I might go after the winner of the David Price/Sean Turner fight next month.
