did not see this one coming at all lol. honestly...Don't think its great match making from queensberry at all considering Adeleye seems to still be british level, Not proven himself to justify stepping up like this BUT I'll still watch it lol. Sorry to butt in, but Hrgovic took a beating from Dubois. He got hurt badly in the round leading up to the stoppage, and of course hurt again before the stoppage. He had a strong start, and nicked many of the opening rounds, but then he ran out of gas and got taken apart.

 

Dubois did destroy Hrgovic to some extent, the heavyweight division is the most dangerous in boxing and such outcomes happen...

 

I just don't see how Adeleye gets in range to land his power? He definitely has some power, but Hrgovic has a great chin implying that Adeleye will need more than a single shot to hurt him. And I don't know how Adeleye gets there.

He needed to hit on the break to land on TKV for example. And Hrgovic is a lot bigger with a lot more experience than TKV, add on a laser sighted right hand coming back at Adeleye and I just don't see what he can do.

I liked the Huni vs Wardley comparison, except Hrgovic has a good chin and Adeleye doesn't have the size to deliver his right hand the same as Wardley.

There was no 'destroyed'. Hrgovic was winning and then Dubois was coming on strong with a mix of punches and illegal headbutts with Hrgovic on his feet throughout, and the doctor stopped it because of a cut.

Dubois had the momentum but who knows what would have happened without the cut, maybe Dubois would have gassed. And we know Hrgovics chin is pure granite. If there was a rematch I'd make Hrgovic the favourite.
