I definitely remember it was the 4th round in teh Joyce fight that he was hurt. Same for the Little match, that was minor, but I didn't like the way he reacted to a counter left hook and straight right from Little. Seems like the 4th sucks for him. Kind of like the 9th round for Harrison.

That was as Good Old Jr says, bowling shoe ugly. I wouldn't say Marko threw the fight, but some of the KD's in the second were sketchy looking. Overall, it was a hideous debacle, and yes, Filip seems to be regressing. Hopefully he can get a better trainer, also work on his cardio and physique, he looks like he could gas and is getting rather doughy.

Just watched it. Hrgovic looked like crap and is regressing. Looks fat and slow.

    Maybe.

The Hrgovic doubters and detractors remind me a lot of the Joyce ones - unless it looks pretty and smooth it ain't good. Effectiveness is what matters and both are not only very effective but also hit hard and are huge physically strong behemoths with very stout beards indeed and despite supposedly being slug slow according to many somehow never manage to not land with great consistency against virtually all if not all their opponents. No understanding of slow-fast speed at all lol

He shouldn't be coming in at 247lbs. He should be 240 max and even though I don't like him coming in below 230 he's better in the low 230s than he is in the late 240s.

Hrgovic dismantling mansour was a good showing, right here he has turned into his slow speed, into slow mode and it looked bad. But quite clearly Hrgovics chin and subtle defence are something only the top fighting men have.

Hrgovic needs a Cunningham type opponent sharp and skillful with decent durability. Liven him up again.

I thought Ryder actually looked like a million bucks today, I mean, he just beat a Cruiserweight into submission in his debut at Light Heavyweight. Now do I think he should stay there? No. But, he could probably take out a few of the lesser fighters. I mean, he beat Callum's ass badly enough, and let's be honest, he's a Cruiserweight too.

I think he possesses most of the physical intangibles which cannot be said for the vast majority of HWs but coming from a small country like Croatia has hindered him. Hence why he's had to travel for quality sparring and seek out foreign trainers. With the right trainer behind him, especially from when he first started out, he would realize his full potential and be an even more serious force.

Can't remember who it was now but someone who has inside knowledge on Ryder and has seen him up close and personal in the gym said he's a beast at the higher weight (LHW). The move up to 168 certainly did wonders for him.

Yeah, I totally get your frustrations, they are similar. Although I used to be high on Filip as well. But he's been disappointing me on a regular basis in his last few showings. He has been regressing. So while a lot of the criticism is over the top and reactionary, some of it is also valid.

I think he needs to just KO his sparring partners to induce utter superiority. Once he has the Klitschko mind set embedded, he will go and dominate for a long while.

I'd love to see him get a fight with The Nelo One, I think stylistically, he'd mbe far more of an issue for Canelo than Plant and many of the other top dogs, aside from maybe Morrell and Benavidez.
