Why should he jump into a title shot? he was beating people no1 has heard of before stepping up and being soundly beaten (but robbing) by Zhang. He's an average heavy that thinks he's at a higher value than he is, he should betrying to build his name by fighting the likes of Wallin, Sanchez, Jared or Ajagba. Heck even Nathan Gorman is better than all of his legitimate wins. This sense of entitlement by boxers with bum records really gets on my tits.

You must have missed the part where the entire IBF top 15 ducked a title eliminator fight against him twice in 18 months.

By the way everyone has an off night or sometimes takes an opponent too lightly. But then you and some others will write him off based on one fight.

Why would anyone fight him for such little money? He brings nothing to the table and rightly so as he has beaten no1. His best win is Molina.

Why would anyone fight to become the number 1 contender for the world IBF title, guaranteed a IBF title shot.

Why would anyone want a world title belt.

He shouldnt, but if everyone is ducking him, he should. He wasnt soundly beaten, if he was he would have been KO-ed. Zhang has power, but no gas or technique, and Hrgovic outboxed him. He won, get over it. All the names you mentioned have refused to fight him. By your logic, for the next 10 years he should be fighting top 50-20 guys. How much does he have to win? 60 fights before he has a shot at Joshua or Ruiz who arent even champs, and even if he had 60 wins, you guys would say - but they arent "high profile" wins, he got to have those - whole entire top 20 refused to fight him - except Zhang and Yoka. IMO Hrgovic should fight Joyce, he wouldnt run off like the rest of these "false champs".

I think that's mainly because AJ isn't throwing hard unless he needs to. He threw a few uppercuts that seemed to cause franklin problems, and Franklin was hanging on for his life towards the end hugging constantly.

Joyce would absolutely take him apart and we would never have to hear about him again. But no no he should fight at least 1 top 20 guy before being #1 in the IBF Rankings and i don't think there's many of the top 20 he actually beats....2 maybe 3. Chisora, Demirezen and maybe Dubois.

, very close fight. He did, he fought Zhang, because entire top 15 IBF refused to fight him, if entire top refuses you, you can jump them. People like you are reason why we dont have any fights in boxing, nor true champions.

People like me? Lol, Im sorry if im to blame for all the big fights falling through, Fury Usyk, Crawford Spence, Bivol Beterbiev, i take full responsibility. But in all seriousness, he lost handedly to Zhang knocked down in the first, 8-4 plus 1 KD is pretty easily in my opinion. He is massively overrated on this forum and in boxing as a whole as it feels like he is avoided, he isnt avoided out of fear he is avoided because he brings absolutely nothing to the table. Why would/should Joshua entertain Hrgovic when he can get 10x the money for fighting a shot to bits Whyte in a stadium?

It could be debated if it was a slip or rabbit punch, Hrgovic shook it off and got up, what is the problem here? Does that mean Wilder won vs Fury in your opinion? He isnt overrated and no one talks about him, he is unknown almost. He is avoided, why are you saying he isnt - he was ducked by 10+ top 10 fighters and not for basic fight, it was for the mandatory position, ordered by IBF. Money? Of course there is an element of that in that, but to say that not a single one (except Yoka/Zhang) wanted to accept a fight, that if he had won would get him $$$$$$$$$$$ - that was 2 years ago? how many fighters earned big bucks for dodging Hrgovic? maybe Ruiz, what about the rest of them? I call bull****. Nahh Joshua is made by you fanboys like ultimate fighter - who refuses to fight top contenders, didnt even want to fight Usyk, he was mandatory. All of you still think of him as valid champion, even after he was defeated by lightweight.

Why would i think Wilder beat Fury? Because of the 2 knockdowns? Lol if anything they were the only 2 rounds he won if he even won the 12th. You are trying to compare apples and oranges and sounding stupid doing it. Hrgovic was thoroughly outboxed by Zhang, take away the knockdown i still scored it 8-4. Because for Zhang and Yoka (at that time) it would have been the biggest fight of their careers and a massive opportunity for what is essentially quite easy work. You think im a Joshua fanboy? You sound silly, Joshua has the best body of work in the Heavyweight division, that is undeniable, but Fury has 2 of the 5 best wins out of current active heavyweights. What was Zhang's purse? 250k? USD give or take 100. Lets say Andy Ruiz takes the fight (an example) he earns 250k as a former Heavyweight champion his entourage is much bigger than say Otto Wallin, so of that 250k he has training fee's, sparring partners, team fee's (trainer, cutman, Lawyer(s), nutritionist(s), secondary coaches, promoter etc etc) flights, accommodation both for him and his team and his sparring partners unless they live locally then ontop of that he gets 45% tax, so why on earth would former unified champion of the world Andy Ruiz fight Filip Hrgovic on the wrong % side of a purse bid in a location he doesn't like and take home after all fee's have been paid around 50k? When he can wait it out for a much bigger American fight v Deontay Wilder.

You say one thing, then another. Dude you are the part of the problem with todays boxing, both WIlder nor Fury were really true champs, they picked their fight by $, and corrupt boxing bodies allowed that. Only true champ in last 10-15 years are Vlad and Usyk. For Hrgovic part, your scoring is ****, outboxed - means not even close, even Communist party of China agrees Zhang won or at least draw on close UD, what you are saying is like FH was slaughtered, what fight were you watching? Yea, u a AJ fanboy I can feel that. For Ruiz fight - yeah, he can do whatever he wants, but he needs to be stripped of his ranking for refusing a fight. What you are saying is - if you dont have $, you dong get to fight - to get fight you have to have good promoters - who are birtish and american - who prefer british or american people because it is the biggest market - so in other words if you aint british or american then you dont get big fights, and then comes Usyk and **** your plans for cowmilking AJ, WIlder, Fury and thre rest of the fake champs.

Exactly, if you are in a top 15 then you should be prepared to fight an eliminator against the other contender.

It says a lot about HW boxing fans and politics that the entire top 15 ducking am eliminator twice in 18 months is apparently acceptable…

But then they are paying out to watch so called HW champions fight once per year against a carefully selected opponent. Whilst ducking all of the younger prospects in their athletic primes.

Until the fans get educated and demand better the sport will continue to decline.
