Hrgovic is the best HW since Ali. Maybe even better.

Of course, next week we'll find a better HW but THIS WEEK yes he's incredible.

Boxing fans are like cows....every time they open their eyes it's a different reality.

Zhang was using Hrgovic's head as a left hand magnet

All joking aside, if you include the World Series of Boxing matches, which were five-round paid pro bouts, and were originally on boxers' records, Filip Hrgovic is 47-5.

That 47-5 record is probably closer to reality than his 21-1 record is.

Filip is a beast. And he's going to be really difficult to beat now that he has a title. At least for a couple years. Although, who knows how many fights he'll actually get in that time.

Seems like Hrgovic-Kabayel is a natural. Both guys were in the ring standing in front of Warren begging him to match them against each other. But Warren was so mind-blown after that loss he didn't seem to know which way was up.

Hrgovic could put together a nice run if his promoter will cooperate. He seems to be in the right head space. Hell, Don King would have Hrgovic back in the ring in three months. Warren just stood there because this wasn't in the script he had planned.

There has been a lot of exciting heavyweight fights this year. The fight Saturday was exciting as hell.

But nearly everyone is only fighting ONCE. It's maddening.

    Put these guys to WORK.

I remember Freddie Roach said something about what he thought of the opinion of boxing fans 'you're only as good as your last fight'

Dubois was behind on points when Hrgovic lost on cuts, cuts that were inflicted by numerous head butts. I too thought that Zhang had beat Hrgovic in a very strange fight from Hrgovic who was switching off at times and just walking about the ring but iirc this was his first fight since the passing of his father. The Dubois loss made Hrgovic look at things and he then teamed up with Sanchez with Hrgovic now more disciplined and certainly more motivated than he had been .
