Hmmm, seems like you hate him more that I am biased - all you say is he is bad, not worthy of a fight or title shot. While he is rank 1.IBF Lets go at it other way, lets say you have a say in anything - what would give Hrgovic a shot at the title by you standards.

I hate him? Pf, I don't care about any fighter out there, even those I watch more. But I was expecting him be a big thing before his performance against Zhang. Filip's resume is thin so far, being IBF number one means nothing, but just how poor IBF is. But if that's your golden standard and will obviously make you happy seeing him an IBF champion - he must wait for the winner of Fury-Usyk and challenge him, at worst, since there's currently no second ranked in IBF's heavy division (weird), he must fight the 3rd or the 4th (Ruiz and Wilder). Good luck seeing him winning agains either Usyk, Fury and Wilder. I give him good chance against Ruiz only.

You tell me now, if he's in his prime and is unable to beat Usyk or Fury (depending who's the winner of those two), how about next?

Yes, where there're plenty of haters or biased sectarians who claim you so if you don't praise their God. I see two for Hrgovic already.

Filip resume is problem here? He challenged the whole IBF ladder, and now he is going at it the second time. How is he going to uplift his poor resume (which I agree with you) while "top" or "first class" fighters dodge him even when he is ranked more than them. Ok, dont look at IBF 1. - look at WBA, 8th, WBC 14th or WBO 4th. Is there serously no "first class" fighters willing to take those spots?

It is not about resume, it is the boxing system - there are no fight at all in heavyweight. You only have Joyce and Zhang. Usyk and Fury still arent fighting, Joshua and Wilder, why they didnt fought, who knows.

I can see you are hating the modern boxing scene, but why are you defending its system. Whole heavyweight division is hybernating. And you spit on the one of the fighters that wants to fight, that is the problem.

You'll get used to it with time, don't worry about it...

Ok, it was clear right from your first posts you're a pathological case. But it's not about the resume, hey, whatever, Hrgovic proved winner against people that are unranked or between top 100 to top 150, but others refused to face him because he's so dangerous (of course, not because of the unimpressive resume).

I "hate the modern boxing scene" - tell me how, where did you see that? I can see you're all about Hrgovic being top. In any way, some fight will be arranged for him, based on his rankings and the others. And as for the title shot - depends on the outcome of Usyk-Fury and how the winner decides to proceed after, also depends on the sanctioning bodies.

But hey, you seem to "love the modern boxing scene" even that you claim it yourself, is working the wrong way (and most of the forum members, I think, we agree is so) - the same scene that allows fighters to be poor on activity, thus having the "heavyweight division hibernating". Yet you support a fighter that is active, but not impressive on such a scene - isn't it a bit contradictive?

Because he is a clown like Butterbean. Very few Anglo's want to see EE's successful. People stick to their own in general.

Impresive, is Fury impresive? 1 top fighter, 90% of fights he hugs, is AJ impresive, steroid man defeated 2 times in "thrilling" match vs cruiserweight, is Wilder impresive? loosing vs bum such as fury, those fights are horrendus,

Zhang Vs Hrgovic was at least slugfest

I like Zhang, but he did not win the fight.

The ref counted a questionable knockdown in round one, which Hrgovic had been dominating. Hrgovic knocked Zhang down later in the fight, but the dodgy ref did not count it. The MISLEADING commentators were only seeing Zhang's 3 punches per round, and ignoring Hrgovic's 50 punches.

Hrgovic was impressive, he was hurt at one point midway during the fight, but stayed on his feet and dominated the later rounds.

Seems to be quite the Eastern euro crowd on here.

Anyone with a name ending in Vic, Chko or Syk is unbeatable in their eyes.

“It’s probably the most frustrating thing going, because we’ve been going down the IBF [rankings], probably every day, trying to find someone willing to step in the ring with Filip Hrgovic,” Hearn said. “The latest one was Martin Bakole. Billy Nelson (trainer of Bakole) said we wouldn’t be ready for August but would be ready for September, we said okay, a bit disappointing but let’s go ahead, and now I’m being told he wants a warm-up fight.

It would actually be cool to see Usyk dust Hrgovic. It's great for the legacy when a guy dusts someone from the next generation of big names.
