There is a possibility that this fight will happen, who do you think would win?

    Hrgovic should beat Kabayel.

That being said, Kabayel is tough and will test him.

If Kabayel takes the fight, it will show he's a real ring warrior, not a craven nancy like Hunter and Parker.

The original plan was for the #2 contender Luis Ortiz to fight the #3 contender Hrgovic.

The IBF ordered negotiations a couple days after Ortiz-Martin. But Ortiz had suffered a broken bone in his left hand and he couldn't fight in March (which is when the IBF wanted to stage the final eliminator.)

Now, nearly a month later, after Parker and Joyce backed out, and with no date for Joshua-Usyk II in sight, the IBF should just give Luis Ortiz another month to heal and go back to #2 Ortiz and #3 Hrgovic.

They can fight in May, which is likely the soonest we'll see Usyk-Joshua II.

I understand why the IBF wanted to keep the ball rolling. But at some point you have two guys who are willing to fight and were originally supposed to fight, one just needs a little more time for his hand to heal.

Instead of going further and further down the list, just give Ortiz anothe rmonth to heal before starting camp.

Maybe Ortiz and Hrgovic can even fight on the Joshua-Usyk II undercard.

Ortiz turned Hrgovic fight down twice now. Ortiz doesn't have interest in fighting Hrgovic and should been removed from rankings with Martin when they or8ginally turned the mandatory down, as Hunter was and Parker recently has been.

They shouldn't wait for proven ducker like Ortiz. They should just move on, next in line is Joyce , after that Kayabel and Gassiev etc. Surley one of Joyce or Gassiev would fight Hrgovic.

Ortiz broke a bone in his left hand in the Martin fight. It was reported the MONDAY after the Saturday fight. The IBF wanted Ortiz and Hrgovic to fight in March. Ortiz can't fight in March.

That's all. I know you guys want to make it BIGGER than that, but it isn't.

He wasn't removed from the rankings because he BROKE his hand.

Hunter and Parker were removed because they weren't injured and had no such reason to decline the offer.

If they're going to keep going further and further down the ratings, just give Ortiz another 30 days to heal. It's not like Joshua-Usyk II is set for March (which was the original tentative timeframe and why there was all this rush to hold a final eliminator then begin with).

If we get Joshua-Usyk II and Hrgovic-Ortiz on the undercard in May ... fine.

Why should Hrgovic remain inactive and wait for Ortiz to recover when he can turn the fight down for a third time sighting injury being reason? We all know Ortiz won't fight him.

Go down the rankings to get you get willing challenger.

So far on Hrgovic duck list
    Ortiz x 2
    Ruiz
    Martin
    Hunter
    Parker

Let's see what Joyce does next ( I'm hoping he takes it up).

The point is if, as they move down the list, the fight is getting pushed further back, then just go with the later date against the top two rated guys (Ortiz and Hrgovic).

There's no point in going further down the list, finally finding someone, and that fight can't happen in March either because it took too long to find someone.

If they can get Joyce and he can fight in March, great.

But if this eliminator is going to get pushed back to May ... just go with the original guys.

I'd be massively surprised if this happens.

SES is protecting Kabayel like a puppy....

What's the point in wasting Hrgovics time for a guy who as turned down to fight twice, who is viewed as complete mismatch (he just went life and death with Charles Martin) and who is very unlikely to be willing to fight Hrgovic anyway?

Stop wasting time and go down the list untill a willing challenger accepts.

Surely you're not naïve enough to really believe that?

There was no injury, Ortiz and his handlers simply didn't want a career-ending KO loss to Hrgovic.

Clearly, you don't read. Ortiz broke his hand. That's why he couldn't fight Hrgovic in March. That's why he moved up in the ratings and not out of the top 10 (like those who simply dodged the fight).

    You ignore those simple facts.

The longer it goes, the more likely they'll just fall back to the original pairing.

Well, he broke his hand. And he moved up in the ratings to the very TOP after the injury was disclosed and not out of the top 10 ratings like guys who just flat turned the fight down.

So, surely I DO believe it. Because that's what happened.

Unless you're Ortiz's trainer and you are here to admit your team didn't want a career-ending KO loss, I'll just stick with the facts and not a argue nonsense with a guy on a message board throwing his opinions around.

    I'm just not naive.

What was the excuse for Ortiz turning down the mandatory last year prior to Martin fight? Was Ortiz "injured" again?

He signed to fight the top-rated #2 rated Charles Martin on New Year's Day and he knocked him out.

And when he knocked him out, he broke his left hand. So he couldn't fight in March.

Now Ortiz is at the top of the ratings. Hrgovic is rated BELOW Ortiz.

    Those are the facts.

That's what ACTUALLY happened. No conspiracy theories. No pretending to know what people are "thinking" or are "afraid of."

Ortiz fought the top rated IBF contender in an eliminator. Knocked him out. Moved up to the top. Couldn't fight Hrgovic in March in a final eliminator because he broke his hand fighting Martin.

But he can fight in AFTER March. He just couldn't start training in January with a broken left hand for a MARCH fight.

    That's it.

I know you seem to "despise" Ortiz ... but Hrgovic wouldn't put a pen in his broken hand and sign to fight someone who he couldn't train for, either.

Reported last year that Ortiz turned down the fight. Hunter, Martin, Ruiz, Ortiz and Yoka had all turned down the fight by July last year.
