Never turned pro or even amateur, just a bit of white collar stuff and did a bit of door work in Nuneaton in the early 90's, so sparred several hundred rounds over the space of a couple of years with doormen. A former member of the parachute regiment by the name of Steve Hyde was our instructor.

Entered a few Karate tournaments in the early/mid 2000's and always medalled. Trained by Phil and Amy Powell, both of which competed internationally. No Mcdojo incase you were wondering. Will be grading for my blue belt in April as had a long break while my wife is grading for her 2nd Dan later this year. Hope that clears things up for you.

Quite simply because your attitude towards people who have trained for years for your entertainment sucks ass. If you had ever competed at all in any kind of martial art, or even been bought up in a rough town and had to earn some respect the hard way, you wouldn't be so disrespectful.

I train boxing with a guy called Alan Bray in Worcester, who's son competed in the amateurs against the likes of Amir Khan and Josh Taylor. He's in his mid 70's and a Glaswegian who would kick your sorry ass out of his gym with your shiity ass attitude. And I've drilled how to punch people in the face, really ****ing hard for a good number of years and at 100kg weight at 6ft, I pack quite a wallop.

As already explained, against Joyce who is a behemoth of a man in the 19-stone range, he had his orbital bone broke and nerve damage to the eye as a result. You seem to be of the opinion that he should have carried on fighting, at which point just one more impact could have potentially rendered him blind in one eye and his career finished in his mid 20's and for what? A 6 figure payday?

Would you swap out an eye for that in your mid 20's? Never to box again and extremely limited in whatever else you could do. He certainly hasn't got the charisma of Michael Bisping so he would hardly go into presenting, You tubing and acting now, would he? People without heart tend not to fight Usyk, Miller and Hrgovic on the bounce either.

Chisora claiming Joshua will fight the winner of Hrgovic-Dubois later on this year, at Wembley.
