Filips taking on some good journeymen. I bet in the first half of '19 he will fight a fringe top 20 contender and graduate from prospect to contender.
I like how they step up his level of opposition. Cornish is a very solid SIXTH pro fight. Hrgovic faced Zumbrano at his pro debut, Joshua faced Zumbrano in his 12th fight. Hrgovic will face Cornish in his sixth fight, Joshua faced Cornish in his 14th fight.
Hrgovic has a new trainer. This fight give him experience vs a man 6'7" tall that is over 245 pounds. I think Hgrovic wins inside of five rounds.
I appreciate your point of view but Cornish was an undefeated “prospect” before he fought Joshua. Since then he’s been polaxed in the first round by Joshua and beaten by part-time shepherd Sam Sexton.
Cornish has faced ONLY bums in his whole career prior to his fight with AJ. He probably faced his best opponents afterwards.
Credit to the matchmakers of Hrgovic. He is really stepping it up. This shouldn’t go any further than 4 rounds.
