Would Hrgovic's chin be able to survive against the powerful puncher Opetaia and how would this fight end?

Hurgovic breaks Jai's nose and jaw for fun then eats him for breakfast

Stop pitting midgets up against titans

Usyk is unique and can compete because 1. He is big as cruiserweights come and is tough as a brick and as game as a pebble 2. His supreme skillsets 3. He has been afforded the opportunity to compete against these giants as an amateur so it's nothing new for him, although he has adjusted his style and gameplans to suit.

Huh? I love Jai but Hrgovic probably has the best chin in the HW division and as talented and promising as Jai is there's a world of difference between cracking the chins of domestic levels Thompson and Zorro than there is cracking Hrgovic's.

Opetaia is a strong hitter but not monstrous. I expect his KO % to go up now that his left hand is sorted but nothing suggests that Hrgovic would fold easily

If anything Hrgovic might put him to sleep because Jai would be a small HW & he is not as good as Usyk defensively & gets tagged. Before he can move up to HW, he needs to improve his defense & put on some bulk

I don't know why people want to see him up at HW so soon, he has a lot of work to do at CW still & Saudi money can make fights happen for him. If he cleans up CW then yes he can follow Usyk & move up while making the necessary adjustments in defense

As good and explosive as Jai is, he has a pretty thin frame. I don’t think he makes Hrgovic blink.

Outboxing Hrgovic is difficult unless you can hurt him

I think Jai possesses all the skills, talent and attributes to become undisputed at CW and not just because the current CW division is pretty weak either. My gut and knowledge of the sport tells me he can go onto to do very well at HW too. But you still have to prove it in the ring.

With Usyk it was a little different. I'd actually seen him school massive SHWs in the WSB, and I mean some of the best SHW amateurs in the world like 3 x World Amateur Champion Majidov, future Olympic silver medalist Big Joe Joyce, and Mihai Nistor who nearly took AJ's head off with thumping southpaw backhands before stopping him in 3 rounds. I'd seen Usyk take big whacks off massive punching massive SHWs

Also, Usyk is one of the best defensive boxers in the sport.

As of now, the only world class opponent Jai has beaten so far is a faded Briedis. He's one of my top 10 favourite fighters in the sport and I rate him highly, see him a future P4P top 10 ranked fighter, and I love his style, watching him fight and I really like his personality too but he still has a lot of work to do first which FTR I have full faith he can and will go on to do..

I don't see him losing anytime soon and the reason many are so high on him is because of the fashion he's won his last two fights in, the skill level he displayed in them, and for proving his skills and toughness and heart against the massive punching then #1 ranked CW Briedis.

It's too soon to pick him against the likes of the much bigger iron-jawed Hrgovic though. We have to see him up at HW first.
