At this moment Jared Anderson would probably knock out Hrgovic.

As poor as Hrgovic looked vs Zhang, I don't see anything from Anderson that should worry Hrgovic.

Good even matchup imo, would love to see that fight down the road. But Hrgovich has unfinished buisness with Big Bang Zhang that he has to take care of first.

They're both mediocre. This new HW crop is a bust.

No way Arum puts him in with Hrgovic or anyone approaching that level anytime soon. Next.

Hrgovic's chin is steel. I think he'd win a UD.

Can't turn out any worse than Fury, Wilder, and Joshua.

Hearn already said Arum won't do that. Fight is not gonna happen. Also Hrgovic invited him to a sparring session in Texas a month ago, when Anderson called him out, but he haven't shown up.

    BOYZ ARE JUST TALKING.

Anderson gonna fight guys like Kamil Sokolowski next.

Or perhaps lose by a quick stoppage from a Bob Arum dodgy referee, like what happened to Tereshkin.

I thought Hrgovic was overrated before the Zhang match, and yeah I thought Zhang beat him. But what I took away from that match was, Zhang is a tough SOB and better than most gave him credit for, and Filip while yes, a tad bit overrated, is still gritty and tough as nails with a solid chin and with that match proved he's far more the complete package than anyone of the absolute shitheaps that Jared Anderson has shared the ring with. So without even the slightest bit of hesitation, I'd pick Hrgovic to ****ing obliterate the unproven and very hittable Anderson.

Also, in terms of power, the only true comparison we have is this. Bakole stopped Rodney Hernandez in 2, then 10 months later, it took Anderson 4 to stop him. So I think the chinnyness of most of his opponents to date has flattered him a bit.

I notice that Jared Anderson is yet to face a single undefeated fighter or take a step up in 12 fights.

Therefore I have severe doubts that they put him down this route. Especially as he is only 22, and a very important prospect for the American HW division.

Too much unnecessary risk. They could step him up a level below Hrgovic first if they are in a rush.

If this fight did happen now then I would slightly favour Hrgovic.

Jared is far more unproven at this stage. I'd have to favor Hrgovic.
