Hrgovic is extremely unappreciated and underestimated on this forum, so now is the ideal moment to ask the question, what would the fight be like against Joe Joyce from the Kash Ali fight
Shut up man, how is Hrgovic underrated? People like you are calling for him to have a title shot on the back of one win over a top 200 fighter. Yes, that’s right, one win over anyone ranked in the top 200. And none of this “everyone is ducking him” bull****. If he wants smoke it’s out there for him to build a decent resume. Maybe joe Parker can loan him a nut.
Hrgovic is average at best but even he wipes the floor with Joyce. It's quite mad how many terrible boxers have managed to land so many clean blows on his big head.
Hrgovic late TKO. Batters him until the fight is stopped. If Joyce can get back to pre Zhang form though then it's a very good fight.

Big Joyce fan but he definitely looked like he'd lost some of his work rate and speed in his last fight. His strategy was to outman everyone, which he did with his chin and work rate. After being knocked out I think psychologically he feels like he needs to be heavier.
Kash Ali just did irreparable damage to Joyce's resume and the resume of everyone he has ever fought.
Before his losses to Zhang I would have confidently said Joyce and I still think Joyce could win but am not so confident now we've seen him stopped. Joyce showed in WSB he could walk through Hrgovic's best punches and gas Hrgovic out over 5 rounds but that was some years ago. Can Joyce take Hrgovic's punches now? I think Zhang hits harder and being a counter puncher unlike Hrgovic who always leads, Joyce is less likely to be caught with a shot he doesn't see coming. Joyce is open to right hands and Hrgovic does have a good right hand but if Joyce can see them coming he can roll with it or brace for impact and I think that means Joyce can take the fight late unlike with Zhang and when that happens I think Hrgovic is in trouble. In the end it's going to come down to what gives out first Joyce's chin from taking multiple right hands or Hrgovic's stamina.
