The IBF should try to make this matchup as a final eliminator.

Surely Ortiz would not avoid Hrgovic, he wants another title shot before he retires.

Ortiz's legs looked a bit shot, but perhaps it was due to inactivity. Ortiz did show plenty of tenacity getting up twice to KTFO Martin and with Hrgovic's leaky defense it wouldn't surprise me to see Ortiz stop Filip.

Ortiz will duck this I reckon. He can't win that fight.

Ortiz seems to be shot. He could become a gatekeeper but I'm not sure the money would be there for this fight, and I think we know Hrgovic is above that level.

Ortiz has zero legs now. He’ll still give it a go against shorter, come forward types like Ruiz and Chisora. But unless Hrgovic has chin problems that he hasn’t shown yet, he’ll take care of the old man in 4 or 5.

Sadly Ortiz is done. In his prime id back him, but not now.

    Hrgovic TKO 7.

Hrgovic knocks Kong out in less than 5.
Ortiz would unlikely take that fight anyway..

Hrgovic knocks Ortiz out quicker than Wilder did

Hrgovic KOs him the early rounds.

Ortiz has always been very overrated and was never that good anyway. Ortiz ducked fights from the likes of AJ, Whyte and has turned down the Hrgovic fight already.

Does he get out of the first round in 2022?

I don't think Hrgovic is as good as some make out, but if he went in there with intent to do damage immediately I would expect him to get this Ortiz out in the first round.

    He looked so frail.

    Hrgovic by brutal KO.

I want to see Hrgovic against Parker. Yes Joyce would be a good opponent but he's with Warren and mandatory for the WBO so won't risk a big fight (maybe he'll fight the winner of Yoka Bakole?).

I think Hrgovic Parker is a great evenly matched fight. Ortiz should retire. If he faces someone like Hrgovic, he could get seriously hurt. Don't be surprised that if Wilder returns, he returns against Ortiz.
