Filip Hrgovic vs Martin Bakole

Good fight, and a good opponent for Hrgovic to get his career kickstarted.

Also good to see these prospects fighting each other, realising that the top dogs aren't gonna take them on.

I stopped being a fan when this fight was in the offing and he didn't make it. If he does take it now, I will give him another chance. Thus far, I am not the least impressed by Hrgovic. Hope he is impressive here because Joyce is too old, and Yoka doesn't have it.

 

Very good fight. Good time for both to have a very meaningful fight. Hrgovic is one who I actually do rate. I think he comes through in about 9 rounds. Bakole is tough and has good chin but can come apart and get broken down by someone good. Hrgovic wins and that would set up hunter v hrgovic after both having a decent win against Martin bakole

 

Bakole will give Hrgovic some problems in the early rounds.

But Bakole proved in the Hunter and Kuzmin fights he is too open and gets hit too much. He isn’t going to out jab Hrgovic and Hrgovic has the superior engine and work rate.

Hrgovic late stoppage and it will be a great fight. I hope it gets made.

With Bakole’s real age 10 years more than his stated age. He needs to move on with bigger fights, more than Hrgovic does.

 

Plenty of hype around Hrgovic. I'll take it seriously if he wins. Not sure he will.

 

I like how they match Bakole after losing his 0 to Hunter.

 

This will be a good fight.

Great match up. Finally we get to see Hrgovic in a real test however I can’t see Bakole having much success. After a round or 2 I can see Hrgovic finding the range for his right hand and with Bakole’s lack of head movement a big KO finish in mid rounds.

 

Finally a great fight, Bakole is good and will not be underestimated but I still prefer Hrgovic who is a more complete fighter...
