Mansour was 46, get a grip. Wilder KO's him in 4. But give Filip a year or two and he might take Wilder deep, but still loses by KO.
Hrgovic definitely needs another year. Mansour was a good step up fight (far better than the originally scheduled Cornish) but he needs a handful more fights at this level.
Cornish wouldn't be a bad opponent if he fought him by early October, then got in one more (better) opponent by years end.
I'd like to see Hrgovic fight one of Wilder's former opponents next, to stay active this fall. Maybe Washington, Molina, Duhaupas, or Szpilka? I imagine Hrgovic would beat them more easily than Wilder. I remember a few years ago, Wilder avoided Mansour and fought Szpilka and other soft journeymen instead.
Is he a threat to Wilder? If so then Finkel would not allow such a fight. Finkel beats contract talks by KO1. Or should it be by shut out? Thats more their style.
Filip is ready for a Chisora or Miller type fight by the middle of next year. But needs a year or two more before going for the belts imo. He’ll be ready and he has a great shot.
He's a threat to Wilder now. If you're losing multiple rounds to Szpilka, getting buzzed by Molina and getting consistently jabbed in the face by Duhappas, you best believe Hrgovic would give him issues, even right now. He does need more seasoning though, and Wilder would eventually get to him.
He needs to keep going at a steady pace, no point in rushing him too fast just because he is doing well thus far.
Hrgovic only has five fights. Let him step up vs. some of Wilder's past competition. He could beat Wilder eventually but not now.
Hrgovic is a very talented fighter but he still has the robotic european amateur style with the hands a little bit too low and without much head movement and he moves in straight lines. That works against smaller fighters but he needs to improve on those things before facing a tall and explosive fighter like Wilder. Right now, Wilder would knock him out within 5 rounds.
