Thank you for posting. There are 20 fights on this card! That is a long time to be in one place watching boxing or anything else but what a great value for those in attendance.

Once again, the outgunned Mark John Yap was very game. Charly Suarez was quicker and stronger and Yap couldn't avoid the lead left to save his life but MJY keep fighting back and had his moments. As for the undefeated Suarez, it is his third fight of the year after fighting five times in 2021. I think staying busy will serve him well as he gets closer to stepping up the his competition level.

Jerald Into, Lito Dante, and Suarez were the three most impressive fighters on this card.

Saurez is running out of opps in Phil Islands. It's time to go out!. Yap gave a good account of himself. Jaurez is an awkward tricky boxer but I don't really know how good until he fights the world to see where he stacks up.33 yrs young now. The fighter that impressed me was Al Toyogon. He has a few loss abroad clearly all the better for it with the international experience etc.Just 24 yrs old.

That was a great win. The kid is relentless and just overwhelms all these outmatched Thais.

Hearing rumors perculating that Casimero will be back later this year and it could be against Takuma inoue at 122. Although no official announcement. But he could very well be fighting Astrolabio there's bad blood between Casimero and MP promotion. Would set it up nicely. Astrolabio is an MP boxer. Sean Baboons fighter.

Other news Mike Plania moment of truth against Aleem. From my analysis Plania has to keep his hands up and defend to a tee. Literally can't let Aleem tee off and break him down. Plania needs to counter and move. Aleem seems huge for the weight and likes to grind fighters in a systematic way. Sneaky unsuspecting body shots and he mixes his attacks well. Big test for Plania here.

I think Aleem is a great matchup for Magic Mike. Aleem isn't some Fulton who is moving in & out, fighting like a tru slickster and avoiding all the exchanges. Aleem comes right at you and throws down which should benefit the guy with more power. Don't hook with a hooker. Aleem struggled with Baez who is basically a less polished and less powerful version of Plania. And Plania beat the crap out of Greer who is basically a less polished and less skilled version of Aleem. Aleem passes the eye test but i think his style will be problematic against a guy like Plania. Aleem also has slow feet. If Plania has the volume he should beat the crap out of Aleem imo. I'm not really high on Aleem. I think he lacks the jab to keep a guy like Plania off him and as i said he's going forward anyway which should suit Plania who usually has to follow his opponents and walk them down. Aleem gives me some classic Filipino champion vibes, i think this will be his coming out party tonight. Saying that...he probably has to dominate to get a decision. Aleem is the clear a side and PBC desperately wants him against Fulton in the future.

Tend to agree. I was just thinking that.

Aleem does go at you and is not moving in and out. So he is there giving opportunities. But Plania defense must be sharp can't switch off because. This guy Aleem is massive for the weight and carries power. Hit and not get hit is the key. Some of these Filo boxer have horrific defense and accuracy of a blind man wearing beer goggles. Swinging away missing by a mile with BS hail mary shots Etc!! But Plania must be sharp on both ends offense and defense. Aleem will break him down if he starts to touch him up consistently.

I didn't see a huge difference in size on the scales to be honest. Aleem probably rehydrates a bit more than Plania. Aleem is decent and will make it a fun fight. He probably won't run like Greer did. Personally i'm pretty high on Plania. He's versatile. He definitely has to be a bit more elusive than he was in the past.

Casimero-Akaho on December 3. I feel like Casimero shouldn't have any problems but you never know...
