about the same really.but he doesn't stumble over his words obviously. he doesn't play coy or anything when he speaks in english and his personality is pretty much the same.reserved, kinda humble. he's not a very good actor, pretty much every movie he's ever been in bombed even in the PI where he's popular but people want to see him fight, not win elections or act.

i don't think he's running for governatorial seat so he ain't gonna run a province. but whats worse is that he's running for congress, i don't think he gots what it takes to make laws and be productive once if ever he gets to the lower house.

his first bid failed pretty badly.he keeps running against established political families.a guard at a port in Bahrain who i stood watch with said the guy he's running against isn't really a bad guy so there's not really a point to him losing.

From various insider reports, Manny is going to lose and lose badly. He's up against an entrenched political familiy who incidentally were instrumental in making Sarangani a province in the first place. He's basically a baby lost in a forest.

However, Manny winning a congressional seat isn't at all too bad, considering what ****wits are in the congress anyway. In fact, many of his proposals (like investing in a Php 1 Billion IT farm) sound pretty good if it's done well.

Given that however, I would be very happy to see him lose this election for as long as he still boxes.

lol.yup.your attitude pretty much sums up my wife and father in law's points of view. He'll do more good for the PI as a fighter right now than he will as a politician.

Honestly, I think he's better off at the very least somehow bringing his children to the U.S. to go to school or something. One of his children is already a U.S. citizen.

The ****er can't even run himself right...! :patsch

    1. Oscar De La Hoya took a briefcase full of one dollar bills, and without hesitation Pac signed on the dotted line, even though he was under contract with Top Rank.

As a result, there were law suits, and Pac ended up losing money in the long run because both TR and GBP were getting paid off him.

    2. The little ****er can't even be loyal to his wife and kids who love him the most, how is he going to be faithful to a bunch of strangers??

    3. Pacquiao flip flops about drug testing, LIES to his fans, and thinks his fans are stupid.(Ahhh...MAYBE he will make it as a politician!!!)

    4. Pacquiao has so many hangerons, he'll be broke in a few years. I wonder if he will also waste his province's money???

I will lose respect for the people of the Philipines if they elect Pac.

in tagalog, he is not that charismatic but i don't know in his first native tounge(dialect) bisaya. my guess is he is not also that charismatic in bisaya but pinoys admire him for what he has done in boxing and i believe that most of the respect comes from boxing alone. maybe he can chage it once he get elected and served his people in a different way.

California elected a foreigner who was famous for being a movie star/ consumer of weights. It's not the same thing as electing one of your most beloved sports figures who is the embodiment of what you can accomplish with drive, dedication, hardwork, and sacrifice. Now that that sentimental shpiel is done,I'd like to remind you of Ronald Reagan, the actor who became a 2 term president.

My wife speaks 3 of the dialects(tagalog, bisayan, and warai) and he's pretty much the same. I think Pacquiao would be the Jimmy Carter of the PI if elected president.Dear God.Let's hope not.lol.

Reagan was very well advised and is an anomaly. We all say we can run the country better than those in office currently, well he actually could...

However, Pac takes punches the face as his living since he was 16..... I dont think boxing for 15 years was very good for his intellect....
