    It's not really a shock.

    Many pinoys have bet against Pac in his fights against Barrera, Morales, Larios, Ledwaba, etc.

    The betting odds are very good here in favor of Pac's opponent. Double the money or better.

    If Pac loses, they win bigtime. If Pac wins, theyre happy and proud.
    It's a win-win situation.

    Whatever someone wrote doesn't affect what's gonna happen in the future.

    Thats not a Wada article, he's just being quoted in the article.....apparently other Pinoys feel the same way but dont want to be quoted for fear of repurcussions.:hey

    You overestimate the Filipino people's support for Pac, Divac.
    The western boxing fans still think that Pac is God in the eyes of his countrymen.

    He's just a man. An everyman who inspires the downtrodden to keep on fighting and not give up. Nobody worships him. Nobody is scared to bet against him. Pool sharks and cockfighters make Pac their milking cow when they go against him head to head. To them, he's just a rich and famous Filipino athlete.

    That article is nothing, Divac. Dont believe everything you read. :good

    I have no doubt that what you say is true. Its the same in every country......usually a popular athlete's harshest critic is some of their own countrymen, who will even go as far as to root and be jubilious if he loses.

    ......but for God's sake, let me have my fun with the Pinoy's on this site!:hey ;)
