Like I said, just check the sources below and see what they say. I get a ton of info from there and it turns out to be accurate 95% of the time. But it can be edited by anyone. They watch it carefully though and try to keep it factual.
It is better than it used to be. Its just that if you really need to rely on some specific information, you need to cross-reference what you read on the site.
thw whole point of wikipedia is to be a free dictionary. and it can't be free if you have to pay people to write stuff inside it, so everybody could sign up with them and be editors. a school paper would be laughed at if the author tabbed wikipedia as one of its sources, believe me, i seen it happen. yes, wiki is a great place for info, but you can't accept everything in there as gospel truth. sometimes people pay groups of editors to write stuff at wikipedia that is pure propaganda. you have to take everything that comes from that site with a grain of salt.
They need to tighten it up..If presscott can *******ize Hoyas name..Damn If I were DLH Id sue his ass
Well like I said, it was changed back within hours, which is damn quick considering how many articles they have to keep track of. And they locked it. For an example of that, go look up Michael Jordan's article there, and you will see a "lock" icon in the top right hand corner.
