Filipinos: Who are you rooting for on September 19?

I have rarely have made any negative comments about Cotto concerning his in ring abilities. The only criticisims that I have had about him concerning his talent level is his defense, chin, and stamina. That's it.

 

I have given him props before. People just don't pay attention to that.

 

Ill be rooting for JMM but although i think he will lose I think hope he puts on a great performance.

Ok, fair enough...it just seems you have some sort of obsession going on here..and I know how you love to play semantics, like well I never "said" I hate Cotto...you don't have to at this point...I openly hate Floyd, yet I don't criticize him nearly as much as you do with Cotto..btw, nothing personal here Reg, I happen to think of you as a good poster..

 

I don't understand many of the Cotto fans on here. I fail to see why so many of you guys are so sensitive when it comes to Cotto. I'm in this thread trying to have a civilized, and contructive discussion. For some reason though, a couple of Cotto fans have decided to pick an argument with me for no apparant reason. Just look at this thread, I have said nothing remotely dissrespectul or hateful about Cotto. Despite this, I'm getting accused of being a Cotto hater. Now why is that? I have no problem with it, and I welcome the discussion. However, I don't believe there is any proof of me actually hating on Cotto. But hey, if you feel any of my posts would qualify as me hating on Cotto, feel free to point it out.

 

Being critical is not equivlant to hatred. I offer objective criticism. Even still, I rarely actually criticize Cotto; whether it be his personality or his in ring skills.

Thank you. Most of the posters on this site are such blind nuthuggers for a fighter that they can't see anything wrong with him therefore saying anything negative about a fighter makes you a hater.

 

I'm rooting for JMM but I think Floyd will just potshot JMM from range towards a boring UD victory in this mismatch fight...

JMM will always have that chance to defeat Floyd even how small it is... and if this happens, I'll be rolling on the floor laughing on Floyd...
