Yeah if Mirko would have had a bigger following he'd have got a title shot in his first fight against Couture, but he'd have probably lost at that point.

Cro Cop is a PED abuser who got kicked out of the entire UFC for being a steriod user and HGH abuser. **** you and **** him. His style comes in a syringe.

At least he admits it unlike Anderson Silva or Jon Jones. Nothing worse than a cheater who lies when caught.

He claimed his use was to heal injuries which is plausible unlike a couple of dummies who claimed dick pills caused their failed tests.

Shut up Willy, 99 percent of yank pros are PED abusers. They have privileges and a drug testing agency protecting them.

**** them too. Plus **** another hero of many Brock Leaner!!
When someone wants to know the definition of " privilege" and " getting a pass", his face should be next to it. The UFC allowed him to fight doped up and covered it up until Mark Hunt sued them.
So before you bash the guys rest assured that plenty of Cro Cops get away with it than Silvas do.

The point was he actually apologized to the UFC as well as his fans and owed up his actions, where as Anderson Silva and Jones lied and made pathetic excuses when they finally did admit wrong doing. Kidding me? The UFC covered for Jones for as long as they possibly good.. There's only so much buffoonery they can sweep under the rug with though. The UFC didn't cover up the test, USADA notified Lesnar of the failed test only a week after the fight happened and the sample itself was only a week or so before the fight. Where's this covering up you are speaking of?

For me, lifelong PED accusations are pointless, proof of one crime is not proof of another.

Same with Jones, yeah he got busted in his rematch with DC but does that mean he's always used, maybe maybe not.

For me the only matches we can dismiss are those which tests were failed.

Chances are everyone in Pride used PEDS to some degree or another, but we can't definitely prove it and even if we could testing in Japan was different to testing in USA.

Cro Cop was an absolute badass providing you look at his career in the correct context.

It's just a shame he shared his prime with Fedor and Nog. And even bigger shame he didn't get rematches.

Yeah I don't disagree. Considering that most of the guys were likely on something it's quite silly to denounce the achievements of the standouts. My point wasn't to lambaste Jones and Silva for being cheats - but to ridicule their excuses and refusal to come clean(pardon the pun) Jones I get... But Silva's refusal to admit wrongdoing is mindboggling. Even on the off chance that his far-fetched tale has any truth to it, it's obvious absurd and not going to convince anyone. Would have been much better for his image and reputation if he admitted to taking PED to recuperate from his gruesome injury. Given his age, nature of injury. a lot of fans and pundits would have cut him some level of slack and his reputation wouldn't be as damaged as it is now(speaking purely one the first failed test after the Diaz fight) As a fan and observer I'm a lot more sympathetic to older guys who take something to get through injuries and not completely fall behind the younger guys. It's not as black and white as some make it out to be, but yeah.... Come clean and **** off with the stupid excuses as the very least.

Thats why I respect Chael Sonnen so much, he knew he was nothing more than a mid level wrestler and I think his trilogy with Horn proved that, but when he got that title shot against Filho he knew he had a shot at becoming something so he started juicing and carved out a decent career for himself, but he admits it and owns the fact that he was a PED abuser.

A lot of fighters insist there's a problem with PED abuse right now, but as you say all we can really do is go off the failed tests.

Anderson really should retire its obvious to me his nutrionalist is telling him certain substances can't be traced and when they are he comes up with crazy excuses. If he can't compete without popping he needs to pack it in.
