Lets tell it like it is here. Marquez is Pac's kryptonite. If they were both as good as each other, then Marquez would win based off the style matchup. People thought Pac would beat Marquez easy in the second fight despite the style disadvantage, but Marquez showed in that fight and then when he moved up and dominated at 135 that he was being underrated. That doesn't mean that he's as good as Pacquiao, it just means that he's really amazing and that his incredible ability combined with a massive style advantage put him on pretty much an even footing as Pac.

And if you're gonna talk about Marquez' age against Pac then its only fair you talk about Pac's weight issues. I'm not gonna talk about either. I think Marquez' style is the type that handles age well and also he had a massive 14 week training camp so he was possibly in the best shape of his life. On Pac's side, reports were that he had alot less trouble making weight for the Marquez fight than he did for the Barrera fight. Excuses about age and weight don't hold much ground in this situation.

I know...that is perfectly stated. He is so acturate & thoughtful with his punching decisions, its beautiful to watch. Against Diaz, he was taking alot early on in the fight, but when he stepped it up, you could see how easlily he took over control of the fight & started dictating the action.
