    First of all, Pavlik fought 3 fights in the same time frame that Mayweather only fought 2.

    Secondly, why are you changing the subject? I am saying Pavlik is more willing to take on tough challenges, not that his opponents are better. At the time Pavlik fought Miranda, that was his toughest available challenge. At the time Floyd fought Hatton and Hoya, there were tougher challenges out there.

    and on a side note, Taylor is better than Hoya, who is semi-retired.

    What's your point? Pavlik is 25 and trying to establish himself. Floyd is in his 30's, is already established, and has just fought in 2 huge fights. It takes time to promote a big fight.

    I'm not changing the subject. My point is simple, Floyd has taken on plenty of tough challeges and has been doing it for years. There was no tougher challenge out there for Floy when he fought Hoya the first time. Ricky Hatton is no cake walk either. Once again, Floyd has been taking on tough fighters for years. Let's history revisionist here.
