Walcott-Louis I was really up there, given the level of opponent, Walcott made the greatest heavyweight to ever walk the Earth (at the time) look absolutley foolish.

Sanchez dismantling Gomez was up there too same with Robinson finally stopping Lamotta.

Ali-Liston i think is Ali's greatest performace as well as Foreman, completely outclassed 2 top 10 heavies.

None of these IMO look as great as Jones-Toney, appealing wise, the only other contender would be Camacho-Limon

Toney's crab walk thing he does in this fight when trying to cut the ring off on Jones is hilariously embarassing.

I don't really remember Jones landing tons of punches on Toney though, McGrain, far from it.It was more his absolute control of how and when exchanges took place that was impressive and key imo.

It was horrible in this fight, he looked at times like he was fighting with a ruined back or something.

The volume wasn't particularly high, but I know the variety of punches was dizzying. There was a real impudence to Roy's work in there by the fourth, he was throwing mad punches and combos he didn't break out for Glen Kelly. And to be fair, Toney was allowed to corner Jones sometimes and get to work, he just couldn't get anything meaningful done until Jones sat down a bit. When he might have won a round.

Seems this turned into listing performances that while not clearly better, are in the same class. One I like and didn't see mentioned was the Spinks clinic against Qawi.

It was a great performance from Roy no doubt... but Toney was drained and not motivated. I would rank Pea against Nelson higher imo

Saddler vs Pep 1. To destroy Pep is better then schooling Toney even if Pep was past his best.
