I felt Kambosos beat Lopez handily. 8-4 seems about right. Kambosos was excellent on the night but I also feel that Lopez was not his best. He might have been overlooking Kambosos or he might indeed have been feeling the weight drain. Either way he would have been better off just saying that the better man won on the night, and thanking Kambosos kindly for the offer of a rematch, and taking him up on it. He would have come off much much better than he did. I can't see how he really thought he won 10 rounds to 2.

Why did the ref raise Lopez’s hand first on the decision?

Kambosos won but this was more deserving of a draw than Wilder vs Tyson 1. Even if the judges gave the decision to Lopez it was more deserving than how judges screwed Pacquaio in his loss against Bradley and Horn.

I thought it was a draw, but I blame Lopez for letting it come to that, he got what he earned.

Exactly what I scored it, there's no way, no way Lopez won 114-113 but there's always one judge who's in someone's pocket like lint.

The ring announcer said “And still…… undefeated…….. and the new”

He raised his hand on the “And still” I thought they had robbed Kambosos at the time for a second too.

I'm fully aware of the criteria professional judges score fights on.. I've explained a while ago previously time stamping why Loma won rds 2 and 6 and no one gave a convincing argument otherwise. Its not effective aggresion if you are getting outlanded, you're not the ring general if you are simply following the guy not cutting the ring off and getting outlanded by cleaner punches which is exactly what happened to Lopez Rd 2 and 6. If you can't understand that then it's not me the one who isn't being objective.
