When the fight was first made I thought Arreola. But the more I think about it, the more I think Adamek boxes and moves and prevents Arreola from putting punches together like he needs to. I'm leaning Adamek UD.
All the talk of Arreola comming in "light" really had me believing he would. His team was raving about that throughout all of camp. I guess one of the first interviews by a small-town Polish reporter was the most honest one of all. Arreola : I will weigh what I will weigh, I had to say something for the media. Adamek UD, the more I picture this fight, the more confidence I gain in this decision. Of course Arreola will always be dangerous, but if he doesnt get the job done within the first 4-5 rounds, he is done.
I wanted to believe that Arreola would come in under 240 because this is a make it or break it fight for him. If I had to put my money where my mouth is I have to pick Adamek.
I want arreola to win but Im in no way confident. like others say on this thread and pretty much any thread about him, he is fat. and fat effects stamina as the fight wears on. however adamek is naturally smaller and from what I have seen doesnt have spectacular one punch KO power Im gonna put 50 v-cash on arreola
The only way Arreola wins this fight is by KO and with his speed deficiency and wild punches, a guy coming up from Cruiser who is used to quicker guys should be able to avoid a vast majority of what tits throws at him... Adamek by wide UD in my view
Arreola has power.... that's it... Power will only get you so far in this sport and when you fight guys that have a vast speed advantage, power can become some what negated (power only has an effect when you land it). If Adamek wins this, you Americans have really got to stop hyping up Arreola and start seeing him for what the rest of the world does. A wild swinging slugger who bust up a lot of tin cans and has shown no great boxing ability as a pro at all
