I'm rooting for Hatton, but my prediction is a close UD for Mayweather.

There's also a real chance of a TKO win for PBF due to Hatton being badly cut, and a slim possibility of a Hatton KO or TKO.

    Orishaman:

This is how I see the fight developiong :

    Rounds 1-4:

Hatton will come in and take the fight to PBF attcking hard and strong to the body, cornering PBF and going to the body while PBF, will be catching the shots on his tight arm defence, he will back Haton up with quick flurries...Hatton will keep bringing the fight to PBF....these rounds willb e brutal for both fighter...Hatton will get hit regularly but you can see that he is determine to pay this price to get inside and atack the body..

    Rounds 5-8:

We will see more of the same, but by the ed of the 8th round, Hatton will clearly see that PBF ios slowing down,..on these round Hatton will keep bringing the fight to PBF, trying to corner his as much as he can ...PBF will try to keep the fight in the center of the ring but Hatton will bully him to the corner, on this exchagnes Hatton will pay the price even though he will be able to connect to the body..

    Rounds 9 -12:

At thsi point it is clear that Hattons body work, is paying off, PBF is slow down, yet he is force to fight on the pocket for longer of period of times that he wishes, Hatton has some abbrasion and swallen left eye, yet this is not detracting his from atacking the body...PBF is force to come out of his hit and run style since the fight hangs on the balance of these rounds, When staying in the pocket in the center of the ring he wins the exchanges, yet Hatton keep bullying PBF to the corner with hilcaious body shots..

THe last round, PBF, will show inflamation on his cheeks bones and andhis breathing wll be fast yet he will be able to keep his work rate eventhough his legs are slower than we ever seen PBF in the 12th round of any fight previously...Hatton will keep the pressre and cuasing PBF to drop his arms more to protect his rib cage and at this point Hatton will go to work on the head....

    ron u.k.

well i've thought long and hard on this but finally i must put it on the line and make my pick for the mayweather v hatton fight.when the fight was made i couldn't really make a case for hatton winning, basically because floyd is just so good, but as the fight got closer i could feel my english patriotism coming to the fore and i was starting to fancy ricky.however now when it's nearly fight time i feel i have to get real and not let my heart rule my head.floyd is going to win this fight.if hatton really is in the best shape of his life that is the same condition as the tszyu fight or maybe even better then i truly believe floyd is in for a hard night.i think hatton is going to show him speed and angles on the way in,get onto his chest and be busy enough and a brute enough on the inside to make floyd uncomfortable, even though floyd is no slouch on the inside and will be popping ricky.there is one scenario that generally hasn't been considered however and that is floyd knocking out ricky.the general consensus is that if floyd stops ricky it will be late on with ricky busted up and cut.however what if floyd especially after all the pre-fight hype and people saying he's a runner comes out and engages ricky on the front foot,i don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that he might tag ricky and stop him.he's a very correct puncher and remember he shook up del a hoya.the mayweather camp say they have recognized a glaring weakness in hattons make up,what could it be.do you know what i think?the body,no one has really given hatton a sustained examination downstairs,i think mayweather will.it still sticks in my mind that in hattons 22nd fight against british lightweight champion jason rowland, not a heavy hitter rowland hurt ricky a couple of times in the 4th round with body shots, hatton in fairness stopped rowland later in the round ironically with a couple of brutal body shots.urango hurt ricky downstairs in their fight.i don't think this will not have gone unrecognized in the mayweather camp.it would not surprise me if hatton wins, because despite what some think on here he's very good.however i've got to go for floyd.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say Hatton wins on a TKO 11th round. I think his body shots finaly wear PBF down, and he then takes a similar shot like Castillo took. I think Hatton hits alot harder than people think.

PBF by late stoppage or points.

Easy to predict, unless I am very much mistaken.

    Go Ricky!

No, even on the TV (I'm in the UK, and I don't have Sky at home). His fights aren't generally shown over here.

But I've read a lot about him and so will offer opinion which I'm happy to qualify by saying that its based on this evidence.

There is a site called YouTube:

    http://www.youtube.com/

It has lots of videos on it...some of which are clips of fights or even whole fights...there is a lot of Mayweather action on here...just type in Mayweather in the address box and click on a video...

To get you started, here's a youtube highlight video of PBF:

...just click on the video to start it...

floyd finds some comfort on the inside to prove a point to ricky. floyd will know hattons habits by rd 5 and start to show him different pictures. I see Hatton eating a lot rights to the body, and lefts upstairs and lead rights in the 2nd half of the fight. 115-112 FM Floyd gets a 10-8 rd 5

I only have broadband access through work or at my folks (where I am now) so it's not easy to see stuff on You Tube. Cheers for the links anyway, I might just have a look at some stuff now.

I think it will be Mayweather by UD. I would like it to be Hatton by KO though.

Hatton can do a lot of things well. He closes the distance quickly, he can work behind a jab, he can work the body, and he can throw at a high volume. He'll do a lot of that tonight...and, I still don't think it'll be enough to win the fight. Floyd can give his own angles on the inside, he can go in and out, and he's far superior at a distance. Hatton's defensive abiilty has improved, but, it still ain't great, and that means Mayweather's right should find a home throughout the 12 rounds.

Hatton gets some business done...but not enough.

I think that PBF will lose this fight if he puts in the effort he put against DLH. He did good that fight but IMO was way too tentative for most of the fight...PBF CAN lose rounds that way...

Hatton has to mix his punches up...PBF has outstanding reflexes...but guys get suckered into throwing the same combinations against him, over and over...Hatton has to do what Emanuel Augustus did...give him all sorts of strange combinations so he can't adjust in advance.

I think Hatton can do this, and that's why i think he may stop PBF late. Likely with a body shot.
