People underestimate how clever Cotto can be in terms of controlling the tempo of a fight. Not me. I could easily see him turning this thing into a sporadic boxing match similar to what he did with Mosley - if Clottey lets him get away with it. Clottey has to keep his word and be extremely aggressive. If Clottey fails to do that he can't win.

 

Roach says he likes Cotto, despite various reports. I haven't been following this..

I don't understand all this talk about Cotto possibly quiting. Must be Marg fans who believe Marg is still innocent of any wrong doing with Cotto or Mosley. Whatever, the fight will be won by Cotto on points. There is no way he can't miss that melon of a head on Clottey.

 

I got Cotto via UD.

But I wouldn't be surprised or upset to see Clottey win in the slightest. Very good fight this one.

Cotto will be more busy than he usual self in this fight and he'll have to be to impress the judges. Clottey's defense although quite superb, hinders his offensive attack which makes me question his chances of victory. I don't view him as a big enough puncher to seriously bother much less hurt Cotto and because he'll be playing defense for much of the fight, I don't think he can win on the cards. I see Cotto flurries winning the judges over to a UD.

 

Ive said it and I will say it again easy work for cotto mark my words

 

Clottey's biggest problem is his lazyness, i expect him to give away a couple of rounds as a result of it.

 

I see this as a repeat of Clottey vs. Spiderman
