    Please vote in the poll.:good

Just rewatched Pacquiao v. Marquez I and scored it 114-110 for Pacman!

    R1: Pacman 10-6
    R2: Pacman 10-9
    R3: draw 9-9
    R4: draw 9-9
    R5: Marquez
    R6: Marquez
    R7: draw 10-10
    R8: Pacquiao
    R9: draw 9-9
    R10: Pacquiao
    R11: Marquez
    R12: draw 10-10

The best case I can make for Marquez is for Paquiao to win 114-113.

Rewatched Marquez v. Pacquiao II and scored it 114-110 for Dinamita!

    R1: draw 9-9
    R2: Marquez
    R3: Pacquiao 10-8
    R4: draw 9-9
    R5: Marquez
    R6: Marquez
    R7: Marquez
    R8: Marquez
    R9: Marquez
    R10: Paquiao
    R11: draw 9-9
    R12: Marquez

The best case I can make for Pacquiao is for Marquez to win 114-113.

So...dead even after two fights, for me!!! Pacquiao won the first 114-110 or 114-113, if I am nice to Marquez; Marquez won the second 114-110 or 114-113, if I am nice to Pacquiao!!!

I have made this thread a "Final and Official", firstly because it's final and official, and secondly, because some people, including me, find the phrase, in an ESB thread context, funny! :)

    Pac-Marquez 1: Pac 113-112 with Marquez winning 7 rounds
Pac-Marquez 2: Pac 114-113 with each man winning 6 rounds

if Marquez stayed on his feet, he wins both

I had Pac winning the first fight.
I had JMM winning the second fight.

Also, I do not think we can use the ol' adage "You've got to BEAT the champion." Because there's no way Pacman TOOK the title from Marquez.

I don't have a problem with the decision. It was a close battle.

A round can't be scored 9-9...10-point-must system, buddy...

First Fight: 114-111 Juan Manuel Marquez
Second Fight: 115-112 Juan Manuel Marquez

I felt he won both fights

    ...draw?:think

Anyway, there's ways of getting round it, if you cannot score draws...just give one draw to one and another to the other!:good

    Yes, meaning I had Marquez winning 9 rounds (117-111 minus 3 points=114-111).

The first fight was a clearer victory for JMM, Pac only had one definite round(the first) in that fight!

Marquez's resume isn't representative of how good he really is.

You can score rounds a draw but it would have to be 10-10...
