few months ago i had thought taylor would win , however after seeiing a few fights and taking a few things into consideration i pick progais Taylor can knock progais down coming in ( decent counter puncher) he is however , The speed , the power, the athletiscism i give it all to progais 1 Speed , Power , athleticism i give that advantage to progais 2. Skill , about even 3. the physical attributes being tall may work against taylor than for him being tall bigger target easy to hit on the inside 4 postol 4th round body shot that hurt taylor , Progais is a good body puncher he stopped relikh in an impression fashion even hurting him to the body 5. Progais response to fighting a southpaw ( Terry Flanagan) i liked that performance and i saw how progais can hit a much taller southpaw being able to slip in and out and hurting him. * bodyshots *being able to get in fast slip an slide good ability advantage in speed , and athletic abilities * Progais performance against Flanagan now before anyone here gets butthurt and says " Flanagan aint taylor " true im just saying that fight showed me how progais is able to slip in and slide out against taller, longer southpaw thats all Note: these are my reasons as to why i think progais will defeat taylor come this weekend . these are my opinions and reasons, Do not get butt hurt over anything stated above feel free to disagree, I will respect your opinion. My Pick Progais whether it's by decision or KO I feel progais will be able to get inside , slip inside the pocket , counter taylor to the body and land his left multiple times to Taylor's body and head. I think. Progais will beat Taylor to the punch everytime and be one step ahead during the match. I can see progais making taylor take a knee from a bodyshot. I can also see taylor dropping progais with counter while progais is coming in. Let me know your pick . Who do you choose will win My pick progais on points
I’ve flipped and flopped throughout the build up, my initial pick was Prograis TKO in 10, then went to Taylor UD, now I’ve change again. Prograis UD.
Think it is a 50/50 fight pretty much. Both have shown a lot but still are unknown quantities in other aspects. This could end up being a clinic win for either guy but I think it will be a close one. I favour Taylor and he should get the nod. 115-113/116-112 type of score.
A single question will be answered tonight: which of these two LWWs can handle an elite opponent better and elevate his game to top status? Gut says Prograis will just bring too much heat and too short distance to take Taylor out of his comfort zone for a punishing late TKO/UD, and at the same time, you know, Taylor might just pull a Lacy-Calzaghe on Prograis and turn out to be much better than previously demonstrated. Between the two I'd say Prograis is a finished top product, and I can definitely see younger Taylor elevating his game in front of us. 55-45 Prograis.
Buzzing for this fight, I'm leaning towards Prograis to get the decision, but I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor steps up tonight and gets the win. Should be an excellent fight, can't wait.
I think Taylor is easily and clearly the faster fighter and more polished. As to who wins - even if you asked me in between the 11th and 12th rounds I probably still wouldn't feel comfortable making and giving a prediction.
It's a difficult fight to predict an outcome for. Leaning towards Prograis... but can still envision a Taylor decision win.
