Yes Thurman was hurt against lopez but lopez a guy who has power and even dropped maidana in the 4th in an all out fight before he got stopped himself. Lopez who upset victor ortiz

Thurman looked good for a guy coming off a two year lay off his reflexes and skills looked a tad half off but still looked okay
His power was great early on Thurman had enough power to keep lopez off early on til the 7th when lopez caught him very good . Thurman however unlike maidana and ortiz he has a good way to escape on the backfoot without getting caught up in a clinch..


Manny looked good vs broner

Broner who has a hard time letting his hands go

Porter vs Broner
Mikey vs Broner

He seems guns shy
Pac looked great against broner however there were times when pac did miss quite a bit of punches against broner who moves but dosent move as much not very active with his feet or his hands he just waits for you.


Based off these performances I give Thurman the edge despite the two year lay off and his last performance observation. I do not think manny will be able to cut the ring off against Thurman . I doubt manny posseses the power lopez posseses. I see pac missing punches and Thurman having enough power to keep pac honest and make him think twice about coming in . I see Thurman countering pac early on figuring him out around the mid rounds is when I see pac having success against Thurman catching him with a couple shots here and there but not being to stop Thurman. Pac does not have the reach and height to trouble Thurman like joselito lopez did to trouble Thurman

Rounds 1-5. Thurman will be on the front foot looking flashy countering

6-9 I see pac having success landing good shots on Thurman hurting him a bit but not being able to finish him (thurman) off

10-12. Thurman mixes it up with pac a bit more cruises his way to a Decision

I dont see Thurman knocking pac out even if he has pac hurt going forward

I only think Thurman knocks pac out if Thurman is on the backfoot and pac walks into a counter shot

I think Thurman will drop pac scoring a knockdown. While pac is on the offensive and Thurman counters him with a power shot dropping pac scoring Knockdown
