    Hard fight to call being that it's that long since either man fought a live body and it's hard to judge their form. Who wins?

    Leo but I'm less confident in that at this moment than any other previous time when this fight has been mentioned... I'm looking forward to it. As you say, it's difficult to judge them. Both seem to have regressed quite a bit from just a couple years ago.

    I'm really looking forward to this one. Think Mares gets the decision here but its a 50/50 fight.

    The fight has lost some of its luster from a year or so ago but its still a big time fight.

    Basically ..crudely....it's Leo quantity v abner quality. I'm leaning towards Leo out working abner....with abners lack of pop being a critical factor...preventing him from getting Leo's respect, which you have to do if you want to beat him.

    Mares knocks him out, DPL style.

    Mares is good beating up midgets, this fight should take place at SBW instead of FW.

    I've been entertained by LSC on a few occasions but never impressed. I'm picking Mares by convincing UD through a very solid performance.

    People need to understand that LSC has powder puff punches, even at SBW. You need pop to beat Mares, I see Mares landing some vicious shots to wide UD or knockout.

    Mares has been in this level before, LSC has been ducking top competition for a reason.

    For once we agree, Jhonny Gonzalez would knock Leo Santa Cruz out cold, so people shouldn't be affected by Mares' loss to him. Skills pay the bills and Mares has a ton of them....Leo not so much.:deal

    The two main fights this reason are hard to predict for very different reasons-

    Santa Cruz/ Mares because it's that long since they have been in with live bodies

    Mosley/ Mayorga because it's that long since they have been live bodies.
