This is it though. There is no proof. Even if Cotto had survived the last few rounds and outpointed Margarito, he would still have lost to Pacquiao.

Team Pac would not have agreed to fight Cotto since he would have been undefeated and a catchweight would have been out of the question. Miguel was severely drained He looked like he was back down at 140.

Sorry man but I disagree here. Cotto fought pretty well early on but he has always backed off in long brawls. The 2 pounds didn't make a difference.

As for not fighting him, that may be true.

Im sorry but as a boxer I can tell you how debilitating 2 pounds of water can be. Miguel was troubling him until he got caught, then went on the defensive because his body could not handle it. Mosley/Margarito/Quintana/Judah and others had cought him with harder shots and didnt take that effect on him. That was probably the worst version of Cotto we have ever seen, he also had nothing for a fight plan since he literally trained himself and didnt have a corner.

having no trainer didnt help but i still believe he never REALLY tried to win it and it was a fix to rank manny. cotto had a foot and a half out the door to retirement remember? then all of a sudden cotto vs manny out of nowhere. fight night 4 came out and they reported how their fights showed it to be super competitive and bam ....

Are they able to relocate to Dallas since Margo fought there if they can't get the ruling.

Always something with these 2. First it was 8 ounce gloves, then concrete wraps, now licensing.

Its a touchy subject for some, all I can say is that was not the best Miguel Cotto in there.

STFU ***, cotto had a chance after that vs manny....bigger opportunity than oscar, or floyd...floyd would've just outpointed him, and he would've gotten 0 cred for oscar....

Respect your opinion as a boxer, but I'm not convinced that the weight had anything to do with that fight. Are you suggesting that not having to lose 2 pounds on the scales would have changed the outcome? Cotto used to make 140, 145 shouldn't have been an issue in my eyes.

Another good point on the team, Joe Santiago was woeful.

You're a ****ing bias idiot, Pacquiao would not have been a draw at ww then. Every match-up would have been subject to change, even margarito beating shane would have changed a lot of matches.

All Marg has to do is get a check up on that eye by a doc and he's clear.... I thought he was going to be blacked balled based on the California ruling but apparently that's not even an issue...nor should it be at this point. Hopefully marg can get cleared to fight after the doctors check out his eye to ensure it's not a risky injury that could cause permanent damage.

I understand its hard to swallow, but lets not forget Miguel never fought at 147 again after that. Maybe it would not have changed the outcome maybe it would have, I would at least bank on it being competitive for a longer period and thats enough to change the outcome but I mean it doesnt matter its in the books already Im just sharring my opinion. Right now all I want is NY to license Margo so I dont have to cancel my plans:good
