They should have a decision by Tuesday.

Looks like Lathan may stick to her guns and be out of a job soon.
Fight may end up in US Airways in Phoenix,Az!!!

Talk about homefield advantage Az is virtually Mexico.
7 to 1 ratio of border brothers!!!

A lil over 24 hours till we hear the final verdict:

    danrafaelespn Dan Rafael
The NYSAC will hold a 3 pm ET hearing on Tuesday where it will either license or not license Margarito. #wherethehellwillthefightbe #boxing

Last week there was a lot of reports coming out that this fight was DEFINITELY not happening in NYC. I was pleasantly surprised when that didn't happen. Here we are after the weekend and more reports that he is still not gonna get the license. REALLY hoping for the best. I was encouraged because I didn't think they would pull him out of camp and make him fly over here and take another test....just to turn around and deny him.

This is quite frustrating to say the least!

Lavathan is taking an out after her amateurish way of handling it in the first place.....she tried to flex her muscles and someone pulled rank on her ass!!!

Appears as the rest is just academic and will proceed on the 3rd!!!

Boxing + government bureaucracy. How could it have gone all wrong?...blah

and why were rumors persisting that Margarito would be declined even before he arrived in NY? The commission seems determined to turn down the fight regardless of the eye. Someone chose to be a white knight crusader for boxing (to punish Margo for the wraps) but instead the boxing fans are being screwed.

Its the inconsistencies that really bother me. If Bob is "100% certain Margarito will pass" then why was he making claims that he wasn't optimistic about the fight staying in NYC yesterday?!?

This has been a roller coaster of a ride for those anxiously awaiting the call on if it stays @ MSG. I suppose we are up right now. Here's to hoping it stays that way!

Im betting there wont be a nose bleed seat left after its all said and done. Think about what this will do for PPV's, especially after the 2nd episode of 24/7 comes out.

Which doctor passed him just now? Is it from the commission or an independent?
