Finally did research on Roy Jones. He actually did avoid most of the top MW-SMW.

That statement sure came back to haunt him after he'd lost a lot of weight to fight Hopkins after appearing in the Rocky movie.

I don't know how you've got the audacity to post this, considering the horse manure that you've typed.

The instinct to search for ways to detract, degrade or disregard another mans accomplishments is that of a beta male. Aka a *****

    :lol::lol::lol:

Loudunce...Loudunce Loudunce (the name fits so perfect)....we both know I'd destroy you both physically and mentally :deal

“shredded” LOL!....embarrassing. Delusional pompous poof Loudunce couldn't shred a piece of paper.

Everyone already knows you don't actually understand boxing itself but if you can't see something as simple as Hall looking better balanced vs Michalczewski then you're even more clueless than assumed.

Note the hopeless freak didn't even have an answer to the history lesson he got regarding Hall & Gonzalez. Not surprising considering his obvious embarrassment at the endless misinformation he's posted over the years.

Loudunce....no one respects you or your clueless, delusional opinion. All you post is meaningless fanboy waffle which does Roid Jones more harm than good on this forum. You're worthless.

You're the extremely creepy useless joke of esb, and probably the worst poster ever.

Roid Jones is your life :lol:....which you live through an internet forum. TRAGIC!

Loudunce...stop wasting everyone's time and go and reply to the humiliating beating you took in the How Do you Feel About Roy Jones? Thread.

Hurry along now. It's been 2 years.

Yeah, but after what he'd asked Roy, there's no way he could have used the weight, even if it wasn't an excuse. He'd have been ripped for it. He'd backed himself into a corner.

Personally, I'm in two minds on this:

It's possible that Bernard beat him just due to styles, but because Tarver's ego had been dented, he had to find an excuse to give.

On the other hand, he could legitimately have struggled because he was devoid of energy. We've seen Roy, Dawson and Byrd struggle after losing weight. And I always remember Mackie Shilstone (who worked with Bernard for the Tarver fight) saying that he expected Tarver to be flat after his weight loss from the Rocky film. So Tarver could well have been drained. He dropped an awful lot of weight.

    What do you think?

    These responses are getting weaker.

Why do you keep asking me to respond to you in the other thread, when I've responded to SIX of your posts in this one, yet have received nothing in return??

I can't even class posts like this as a response.

It's just another nothing post that's filled with more predictable insults.

    Give me something to debate.

Regarding Hall, it's nothing to do with being better balanced, it's the fact that you just can't give Roy ANY credit because of your hate.

What lesson regarding Gonzalez? The point wasn't even addressed to me genius.

Now are you going to pretend that I didn't post those 4 links in my previous reply to you?

    You're a joker.

Asking me to respond to a thread from 2 years ago, when you can't respond to one from just 2 days ago?

I actually picked Tarver to beat Hopkins..

I think it was multiple things. I think Hopkins' style would always give Tarver hell, and at the same time, I do believe Tarver was drained and a little flat in that fight.:good

But that is no excuse.. Professionals get paid to fight at a weight, and should take full responsibility for it. I was an amateur wrestler that didn't get paid but never didn't make weight, even though I was completely drained to the point of passing out a couple of times.

To be fair as well, I think old ugly looked more comfortable at 175 than he did in his last few MW fights.

    Great post.

I also think it could have been a culmination of the two factors.
