    With the mandatory defense of his IBF cruiserweight crown being announced last week, 200lb world champion Steve 'USS' Cunningham (21-1, 11 KOs) came face to face with his mandatory challenger Tomasz Adamek (35-1, 24 KOs) for the first time on Sunday during the annual Pulaski Day Parade in New York City. Things won't be so friendly when they meet in the ring on December 11th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

    I know, Klit vs Peter & Tarver vs Dawson this weekend, then next weekend KP vs B Hop, but this one Dec. 11th with USS Cunn vs Adamek cannot be forgotten! This is a great matchup & one that I'm sure won't disappoint.

    Who all from the NYC area thinks they may attend this Cruiser wt Title fight in Newark?

    I live in Delaware - but I'm from North Jersey.

    The fight is Downtown Newark - so I'm going to try and make it. The only problem is it's on a Thursday night. I'm going to try and work my magic.

    If you guys think Cunn will win, how on earth did he ever lose to Wlodarcyzk? Adamek is 5x better than Wlodarcyzk, he schooled O'Niel Bell, former undisputed Cruiserwt. Champ, forcing him to quit.

    Adamek will prevail. He'll do whatever it takes. This isn't the Adamek that lost to Dawson.

    Either way, its a good fight. I pick Cunningham to win via UD after putting Adamek on the canvas a couple of times, but I would not be surprised if Cunningham kisses the canvas a couple of times himself. This is will be an all-action fight that shouldn't be missed.

    Cunningham 6'3" struggled with Wlodarczyk 6'1" who is just as tall as Adamek. He lost the first fight and win an MD in the rematch . . . how can you say Adamek has no chance? :think
