This is the first interview since the fight giving the Haye side to what went wrong, instead of Hearn's team bumming up Bellew. Finally did not think I would find something like this for weeks. Sounds very honest and accurate on what really happened last night. Sounds like there is a good chance this is not the last we have seen of Haye at the top level, well just maybe anyway. Sounds like there was problems before the fight, and Haye was in a rush to finish it eagerly before the injury cost him the fight.

Haye injured his achilles throwing those wild Hayemakers, that's it.

Yep, his timing was absolutely horrible. He looked amateurish and embarrassing.

Haye's shown absolutely nothing since his fight with Chisora almost 5 years ago.
So I don't know why anyone expected him to show more than he did last night.

Haye's performance was no surprise whatsoever. (Only in the minds of the deluded mugs who has this guy pegged as a current elite contender heavyweight.)
The surprising factor was that Bellew turned out to be good enough to capitalize on it. And, all credit to Bellew because he told as all he'd win by outlasting a broken Haye. The only thing he got wrong was that Haye would quit, so credit to Haye for not doing so.

Haye gassed and got sloppy before this mysterious injury that requires no medical attention.

Haye went in looking for the early ko, he was injured during camp but it was too close to the fight for a post ponement Because haye was nervous bellew would look for a keep busy payday and that's way too much risk of another bell loss.

Haye thought he could catch him and end it early but, haye didn't have anyone with a working fight brain. The hardest thing to do is go looking for the early ko, especially when your opponents whole game plan is to survive and drag the fight in to the late rounds.

We're going to be suckered into a haye/bell2 wholly due to haye being a greedy mofo, being too scared to lose the fight if he tried to push it back. Haye and his greedy stupid team are to blame believing he could go in injured looking for the early ko AND GETTING IT v a very defensive fighter that knew you were injured which made surviving a few rounds all the more important

David Haye's always injured, so a rematch would turn out no different.
It's extra money in the bank. But I'm not sure Haye will want 2 losses to Bellew on his record.

Haye met a fighter who wasn't intimidated by him and fought back = ko loss. Same with the Thompson and Wlad losses

Haye doesn't care about his legacy at this point. He's cashing out. He would probably take a dive for decent enough money at this point.
